Woodia stopped at a door. She said, "This is his room.Mine is right beside right here."
She motioned to her door. I nodded and entered his room. The deep brown walls had a wood print on them. He had tile floor so my combat boots make a faint clicking sound as I walked him to his bed. I gently set him on the bed and turn to walk away. I felt him grab him wrist. I look back at him and he was still asleep. I sigh and sit down on the floor. He changed his gripping so he was holding my sleeve. It was very weak. But I knew he would try to grab at my hand back.
I think he is just scared about being alone after what had happened. Woodia enters and whispered, "Do you need a change of clothes?"
I whispered back, "Yeah. I could use some."
She nods and leaves. She comes back and hands me some clothes. She goes to the other side of Avalon and runs her hand through his hair. I was able to go and change. My hair was exposed. I walk out and whispered, "Thanks Woodia."
She whispered, "Your hair."
I got up and went to grab the cloak. I put it back on and go sit down. Woodia leaves and Avalon finds my sleeve again. He turns to me and still holding my sleeve. Man, I feel like he is a baby by doing this.
I sit back down on the floor. I do not feel comfortable with sharing a bed with anyone. Not even Woodia. She leaves and I fall asleep. I wake up to Avalon murmuring. I stood up slowly. He sees me and gets up just as quickly. He raised his hands as if he was going to hurt ir fight me. He then realized who it was. He said, "Oh, it is you. What is your name? I do not think I got it."
I said ,"I am Akiho."
He nods and said, "Nice to meet you Akiho. Why were you on my floor?"
I said, "You would not let go of my sleeve. So I stayed on the floor."
A blush crept up on his face. He said, "I am sorry."
I said, "It is fine."
I could feel him looking me up and down. I was wearing some pants and a long sleeved shirt. It did expose my body. He said, "I am sorry for calling you a sir."
I smirked and said, "It is fine. It happens all the time."
I heard a knock and Woodia enters. Woodia looked worried. She said, "Someone wants to talk to you."
Avalon stands up and goes out. I follow because I am not staying in his room. Woodia said, "I need you here as well. You might have another quest."
I nod. We enter the throne room and Oak was not there. Standing there was a woman. She had blue fading into a sea green hair. Her pink eyes had bags. She seemed to not have slept in a long while. She sees Woodia and said, "Thank God you are here. I need you help."
The woman seemed unstable. I go and stand by her just in case she falls. The woman said, "Squalos had disappeared."
I searched my brain. I have heard that name before. Woodia said, "Oh no. What do you need from us to help you search?"
She said, "I heard about your son missing. But here he is. He must have found his way back home."
It snapped in place. Squalos is the prince of the water kingdom. So this must be Queen Flo. Woodia said, "Actually. The person behind you actually brought home back."
Flo turned around and looked at me. I bowed and said, "Hello Queen Flo. I would love to help you find your son."
She said, "I appreciate the help. but I am not entirely sure I can trust you."
Woodia said, "She knows about me."
Flo looked at me. She said, "You do?"
I nodded and said, "I know about Woodia's past. I was actually there for part of it."
Flo nodded and said, "I would love to have your help then. I will bring you back home with me."
I nodded and said, "Of course. May I please say my goodbyes before we leave?"
She nods. I hug Woodia and said, "I will see you soon Wood."
She hugs back and begins to cry into me. She pulls away and I wipe away a few tears rolling down her cheeks. I look at Avalon and said, "Nice meeting you Prince Avalon. I hope to see you again soon."
He nods and said, "I thank you for what you have done."
Woodia said, "I will give you some clothes."
She grabs my wrist and drags me into her room. She hands me some hunter outfits. I nod and go and change. I had on some breathable pants and a long sleeve shirt. Fresh new combat boots. I put the old ones in the backpack. She hugged me one last time and said, "Letting you know. I think Avalon has taken a big liking to you."
I roll my eyes and said, "Say whatever you want. It is only because he did not want to be alone."
She said, "Then why did he not ask or grab my sleeve?"
I looked at her and said, "You really think I know the way of a male mind?"
She laughs and said, "You get mistaken enough. I figured you knew by now."
I laugh and said, "Nope. But I do not understand most girls mind either. I do not hang around people to be that close."
I wave goodbye and walk out. I meet Flo at the front. She said, "We will travel by water."
I nod. We walk into the woods. We then walk up to the river.
