Its was a few hours during the cleanup. Zhan took many of the nightwisher's lives, those he couldn't find were all that had survived. Their lair had been the grove of trees, the grounds below were littered with corpses, hundreds, thousands. Zhan knew the importance of materials, he took them all into his storage. The Metal shirt seemed able to mend itself around his wings when he returned to Khan Ni.
"Let us get somewhere a bit less filled with death." Flying them to a cave, he started to explain the situation he had found himself in, then, he revealed the Gygax. "I've chosen this form because it gives me strength, the Foil Vipers, my daughters' precious pets. It got me thinking about why the vipers had been slain. There had to be a reason. Ferser has told me about the Vampires' intent for Xue.
"What are you talking about?" Khan Ni understood the reasoning behind his form, he had the gygax thrust upon him and his current form brought him a level of comfort during his battles. "What about Xue?"
"A Vampire Lord has pledged to make her into his bride, I've been working my way through their forces, those nightwishers were some of their elites. They don't do very well against this viper body, when used with my ice and soul abilities I've become incredibly hard to detect. My love, I fear I will never regain my original form, these Gygax, my brother knew them well. Maybe he can help in the future but right now I have to worry about Xue. The entrance to their domain is still a few days from here." Zhan looked serious and ready to for battle, his wounds were quickly healing and the scratches on his scales had mended.
"I would never abandon you, the World Tree lives! My Husband, my quest is completed. I've been given a blessing by the World Tree, let it be ours to share." Khan Ni picked up the gygax.
Zhan saw her and reacted. "What are you doing?"
Khan Ni cast them, her body started to morph. She took on scales and broke through her clothing. As her fingers expanded she cast off her rings. Her torso grew longer and she grew a tail. Another Hybrid born of the Zodiac and Pellos, she was a Dragon and Jiao. Her voice came through to Zhan's mind. -"This is strange." She projected her voice and realized that her mouth didn't have to move. Her large stature matched his, but she was thicker and had some fur like quality.
She opened her mouth and started speaking aloud. "This is very strange. But no matter where you go, I will follow. Husband, Our fates will be shared." Khan Ni wrapped herself around Zhan.
He collected the Gygax. "Together." Zhan spun and took them into the sky, "Lets go get our daughter."
-{"Touching, but you'll need a plan"} Khan Ni could hear Ferser, she looked over at Zhan as Ferser tried to make light of her decision.
-("You know this is going to be complicated, but there are some things you didn't know about me, for one, I know how the Jiao move fastest.") Khan Ni teased Ferser and took the lead as they charged toward a Vampire Encampment.

It was mid day, Many slaves were working tirelessly around stone capped building. A crash outside, the sound of splitting earth and then nothing else, caused the people inside to worry. A chamber door slid open, three vampires stepped out to check what was going on. Large barreling beings were tearing apart the fortress. Their century long work was being dashed. Sharp barbs, poisonous stakes scattered in Khan Ni's wake. Shot out like arrows in her path, it was a raking motion across the courtyard, dotted lines like a perforating tractor followed her trajectory. Spikes covered the ground.
The layout was similar to a Parthenon, grand exquisite hall that, if it was truly built for a Giant, it was smaller than a closet. Khan Ni was the only one the guards had seen. Scattering the first few pillars of the entrance, the roof began to topple. Thought it was on the verge of a full collapse, it managed to remain, slamming down upon the support pillars and cracking them. Long, small cracks appeared on many and it was only a matter of time before the building would be reduce to rubble.
Outside, Zhan was busy tearing apart the monster and slave reinforcements. Ferser had The Prince taking their cores and keeping them confined to the battlefield. It was manageable because of his size. Zhan had grown to the length of a few meters if his tail was included, his intimidation factor had risen by a factor of 10. Khan Ni was enjoying herself in the structure.
There were eight coffins placed in the tomb below the foundations, after landing, she sank her nails into the stone and bore roots into them, separating and clearing a path. The Lids to the Coffins broke off and figures sprang from them high into the building's ceiling. They stood opposite crom Khan Ni, staring furiously at the damage done to their resting place. "Die!" The four of them sprang into action, Khan Ni was most familiar with a bow. Thinking hard she came up with a plan on the fly. She rose into the air and started throwing her spikes in all directions, they hammered into the walls and floor.
Grabbing one, she fed her golden energies into them and a change took place, it wasn't what she expected. Gas started to come from the broken pieces of her spikes, their cut ends wafted a strange purple and green gas. It became sticky, clinging to the Vampires as they traveled through it.
Her heart was beating as they grew closer. She was most familiar with a bow, but her stature was all wrong for archery. Khan Ni concentrated her energies in her throat and let out a roar.
It was deafening inside the great hall, tearing its interior apart in a blastwave of gold, small spikes, similar to Zhan's Ice needles followed along its path. The Vampires were pierced many times and fell like rubber mats to the stone floor. Khan Ni sent her roots out and stopped the building from collapsing on her, cleaned up the area and corpses then rejoined Zhan.
The Monster Slaves of the Vampires started to act strangely after Khan Ni had killed the eight in the coffins so quickly. They lost their will to fight, some even dropped their weapons. Red light came across the crowd, it started to happen moments after Khan Ni stored their corpses away. The Slaves had regained their freedom, the contracts were dissolved on their master's death. Some chose to rampage uncontrollably while others fled in earnest.
Khan Ni worked with Zhan to contain the chaos, the Suns wouldn't be setting for several hours.
