Chapter 82 - Chapter 0082 - Brothers, Fathers, Sisters, Mothers.

Wu Hai was sad when he found out that his Sister Xui Ying decided not to come along with him to his World. He had given her a chance and told her to pack but he also understood that she had to think about her own children first. Since they were unable to make the time, he didn't want to think too much about it while he was leaving.

The whole world watched as Zao Wu Hai vanished in a beam of light. He had left after saving China and eastern India, all while shaming the Koreans and kidnapping a few of the Japanese players at the V4 Expo. His accomplishments and feats of heroism had also revealed beings from another World, Live and On Television. There was no taking it back, no hiding it from the public and no question of its validity.

The Footage, which included video from the experimental lab's exterior parking lot had brought government interference. Inside the facility they found a spear lodged between a Man's eyes and almost two feet into the solid concrete.

The Spear was made of unknown materials, Despite being the cheapest of Zao Wu Hai's spears to use in the moment, it was an extravagant means of killing someone on Earth.

Wu Hai's face was circulated as a person involved in several crimes, including the murder of Chinese government employees.

The World Press was having a field day with ordeal, their accusations and inflammatory remarks became more and more extravagant. Speculation soared and because no one could verify the information, anything that was spread enough became the supposed truth. Speculation was all that could come and there could only be derrision from that point on, people would begin to spin out of control and look for someone or something else to blame that was within reach.

Xui Ying couldn't bring herself to take her children from their Homeworld because it was the only thing they've ever known. When she saw 'Zao Wu Hai, Prince of the Zao Clan' disappear while millions watched in envy, her heart sank. Her brother had reincarnated, come back to the world to save some people and she had dodged the offer to leave alongside him.. her hesitation at the time sent her into a crying fit. Many questions and regrets formed in her mind but there was one thing that was clear, it wasn't a dream.

When the Television aired the footage from the Convention and when she saw that the police had the Hotel surrounded, she was almost relieved that she hadn't gone along with the plan. And then..

When the Government went into apprehend him, a bright flash blinded the cameras and entry teams, there was nothing, nothing at all.

As each image passed her eyes, she knew she had lost her chance.

Staring at her Children, Xui Ying couldn't help but pull the Crystals she had been holding till her palms sweat and placed them on the Table. She found herself having a hard time swallowing, she was terrified and heartbroken.

Her entire world was thrown upside down and so many preconceptions shattered. She was moved to tears and then she called them over. She held them tightly, kissing their cheeks and pointed to the video on the Television. Her children were what was most precious to her but before them, there was her big brother.

"Qingchi, Luitian.. this Man on the television. He is your Uncle." Crying, Xui Ying watched as the news reporters screamed in astonishment during the broadcasting.

Lots of irregular things were said during the program but no matter what the reporters were saying, neither of them cared. They were trying to make sense of what their Mother had just told them, Luitian was always a quick learner, he turned his attentions to the news feed and Qingchi immediately followed.

The Auditorium had been raided by the Special Police Unit, people rushed in and secured the area but nothing was left for them to find. Only some empty tables and chairs that seemed to be teetering had remained.

The Bright light before the entry seemed to mask their escape.

The World called it a hoax almost instinctively but the arrival of Dodona Trees throughout India and China had quite literally saved mainland China from a full collapse of the Eco-System, if only for a while. Then, there were the witnesses and people who had participated at the event. People can lie but how many could have the same hallucination? Moreover, how many times does one have to see video of him speaking in every language at once? The questions were too confounding and without answers, again, they all turned toward speculation.

"Uncle Jigui? But, didn't he die last year??" Xui Ying's children were not young, they were both reaching the teens. Hearing this was something of a shock but neither of them had much of a change in their expressions, they were still struggling with the information.

Ying could see it on their faces even if they didn't want to show it, she smiled. "Mhmm, He was so scared he came back from the other world and gave me these crystals." She shook and held her fists tightly, her nails were still dirty from the garden before and with the crystals in her hands, she had been a bit on edge.

"He wanted us to come with him but I was scared.. I was terrified, my brother's ghost, giving me something?? Who wouldn't be at least a little, right??" Xui Ying started crying in front of her children, she was still smiling but her breathing got harder with each word.

"Jigui was always one to surprise me at the oddest times." Xui Ying began to apologize to her Children but Luitian was having a hard time keeping his own emotions in check and worked to change the subject.

"Mom. What are the Crystals for?" Luitian picked one up and felt strange, his hair started to frizz out a bit until he put it down.

Xui Ying saw what happened, she knew the crystals were abnormal. Holding all three of them had made her feel very strange.

"Your Uncle Jigui said to swallow them and to never tell anyone about this. He said that if they found out, they might come to capture us for study." Her Children were smart, brave and most of all they were in complete trust of their Uncle. Ying couldn't have the same confidence blindly, so she had taken time to consider her words.

"I didn't believe him, at first. I just felt that these crystals were bizarre so I didn't throw them away. Never in my life did I think that he was not only real but he would do this. It was all suppose to be some crazy dream but," she stopped talking in that instant, grabbed the remote and changed the channel many times. Wu Hai's disappearance from the hotel was being discussed on every channel, not just the news.

"Mom. If Uncle came back from the dead to give these to us, they must be important." Before his mother could say anything Luitian had already shoved the sparkling blue crystal into his mouth.

Qingchi grabbed the light pink crystal and swallowed it, leaving the bright, dazzling and pulsating red crystal for their Mother.

Xui Ying helplessly watched her children carefully swallow the crystals, there was no point for return. She stopped thinking and threw the red crystal into her mouth. No matter the outcome, she would share the same fate as her children. She felt a wash of heat.

Her inner temperature rose hotter than any oven she had ever felt, the heat from before doubled in an instant and fire started to spill out of her. Ying's clothes caught fire.

Luitian's skin glowed slightly but faded, his head ached for a moment. His consciousness was being opened forcibly, he was growing smarter by the second, things that were unknown to him suddenly made sense without a second thought. The Blue Crystal had been a mind crystal, the pink one was for the soul and the red one, was the power of primal fire.

Qingchi could feel the changes in everyone's bodies, she looked at her mother being engulfed in flames and started to worry a bit. She could feel how her mother was feeling. Grabbing her brothers arm, he immediately calmed down as well, their panic spread evenly among them in an instant. She was sharing emotions while Luitian was experiencing his explosive growth. The crystal had been expanding his ability to comprehend, he saw his mother still flickering with flames but the panic on her face was dissipating.

"Mom! You're on fire!" Xui Ying didn't know what else to do, she tried calming her heart and the flames died down slowly, it was a struggle even with her children present.

"Thank you Luitian, I wasn't sure but it seems like you're Uncle has thought a lot about these things." Xui Ying's eyes started to tremble, she wasn't sure if she could have made it through the experience without the two of them present but she laughed it off and kept patting the flames on her chest until they went out.

"Jigui ..no, Zao Wu Hai, Thank you." Her eyes closed. "I hope destiny smiles on you, like you have for us." Crying, tears of fire slowly dripped to the floor.

"Mom, calm down." Qingchi tried grabbing her mother, the fire didn't hurt and a smile crept across her face. "The Fire isn't hot??"

For a few hours Calistown was sure that she would give birth, everyone sat patiently while she tried again and again. The false labor contractions left even Fei, Lei, and Khan Ni standing around her for several days.

She was still unable to give birth, nevertheless, contractions still came.

Calistown, who was in the same room, started to look very tired. Master Jiang had to gently use his healing magic on her a few times to relieve the headaches.

"Mother, will you be alright?" Lei was always a little worried, she was psychic and held a deep sense of empathy. She knew more than anyone the pain that her mother was going through.

Watching the belly of her mother being kicked again and again from the inside, Lei was about to cry out. Then, Rachael started to show signs of pain.

Grabbing her back, Rachael grabbed onto Zhan's arm. "Husband! ..I'm going to have my baby, NOW!!" She was making a serious look, the contractions were still getting faster.

"Huh. No, I mean, huh?? Shit, Wu Hai. Help me get her onto the table." Rachael was slouching and Wu Hai was just as strong.

Standing beside his sister-in-law, Wu Hai looked at his mother then back at Rachael. "Something's very strange." Wu Hai stepped back from the pair and teleported to the lobby.

"Everyone.. who was a doctor? I need a Doctor!" Wu Hai was starting to show his emotional side from the Demon form. He had noticed something but he wasn't the best suited.

"I was a surgeon, what's wrong?" The old man that Wu Hai had freed from the research center seemed a lot healthier than he was when they had just arrived back in this world.

"I'll just take you there." Wu Hai grabbed his shoulder with the Tower token, teleporting back to the room with the doctor.

"OH! MY WORD!" The former Surgeon opened his eyes and nearly did a double take. He hadn't expected to simply arrive in another location, again, in such a quick amount of time. He was half dizzy for a second then, he looked over at Calistown and afterwards, Rachael.

"Twins huh? Wow. I just got here and this.." The Doctor scanned the room for equipment, when he didn't see any, he shook his head.

"My name is Doctor Dibali. When was your last contraction?" The surgeon started introducing himself, he quickly got it over with and straight to work.

"Contraction? The pain comes often... Aahh." Calistown winced again and bore down on Ooran's Arm.

Doctor Dibali was focusing his mind, then he felt Calistown's belly for a moment. He said a few things she didn't understand but he turned toward the Patriarch and said, "I need to open her up and take the children out, otherwise we could lose the babies and her. Every moment I wait makes things harder for her to survive."

His expression changed a few times while he was explaining, Doctor Dibali looked at Wu Hai and said "I need a very sharp knife and clean water.. anyone that doesn't need to be inside, get out. Right now.. Go go go."

'I just got here.. talking is cheap.. you can do this.' Dr. Dibali was happy, not about the problem that was happening in front of him but that the years of his life that he thought were long gone had come into use once again.

Master Jiang spoke up, "I have a healing ability, I can keep her stable while you help the babies."

"Healing Magic? Sure, whatver. Okay.. so I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it works like those healing potions the Cat-man tower spirit had? That will work for the post-op. Just get me a knife, the sharpest you can find and it needs to be small." Doctor Dibali showed his professionalism by issuing orders and taking control of the operating room. There were few things he respected more than medicine.

Looking over at Rachael, Doctor Dibali knew what was happening and laughed his ass off. "So that's it? I guess humans are the same in all worlds. Young miss.. you spend a lot of time with your mother-in-law over here right? I bet that's a yes?"

Rachael nodded to Dr. Dibali's words.

"You synced with your mother-in-law and are having sympathy contractions that sent you into labor. Its a good thing though, you look about done anyway. Otherwise, this would be very, very bad." Doctor Dibali kept preparing himself and gathering as much information as he could. Asking questions wouldn't necessarily help him with the upcoming operation. After Wu Hai found an appropriate dagger he kicked him out of the room.

He needed workspace and it was never good to have too many cooks in a kitchen. "I can't be interrupted, Master Jiang says he can heal her wounds when we're done in here." Doctor Dibali closed the door.

Wu Hai instantly understood what Doctor Dibali wanted. Waving his hand, he went to the lobby.

֍ꟷꟷꟷꟷ֍

"I feel a little useless in there." Wu Hai waved his hand and pulled out the cup and dice to re-roll to a human body. It had been a while and there were people he needed to talk to, being intimidating wasn't very useful at home. He walked up to the group once he was done rolling and started introducing himself personally to the people he had brought back.

It was important for him. Many of them would become new members of the sect and he had to know who he could trust and who would be problematic. Each one of them had personal needs and expectations. Wu Hai had promised a lot when he was on Earth and they were all looking for him to deliver.

"If the Sect just ignored the new arrivals, how pitiful would that reflect on us as a whole?" Wu Hai laughed a few times after he spoke.

One by one, the Prince started getting their names and personal backgrounds, as well as their interests written down. He had gone through considerable effort and search for these people, even if it was by chance that he had arrived on Earth, some of them would still become foundations of the Sect and City.

He had to place the transplanted group into the right places and positions. They had come from a different World. Society and wild animals, forget wild animals. There were Monsters, Demons, Elementals and even a simple harmless looking flower could contain great plague or be the lure of a great beast.

Danger was a reality that all the Earthlings would have to face if they ventured out, perhaps danger would still exist for them even if their own backyards.

When separating the gamers out from the group, Wu Hai came to find out that most of them enjoyed role playing games. The transition for them would go pretty well, only a few of the former captives were scared shitless, in disbelief and needed time to adjust.

It was a very refreshing start, Zao Wu Hai couldn't help but sigh. Although he was still unapproached by the fairer sex, he had not brought many women among the transmigrated. There were a lot more men.

'So many guys..' He sighed again and swept his spiritual sense over the crowd.

Wu Hai had the attention of everyone present. He didn't want to waste his time, he could be called back at any point by the Patriarch and didn't want to spoil the mood but he had many things to relay.

"This World is dangerous, wild and for the most part, clean. I want to build a City so that I don't have to worry. Some of you look very afraid, it would be strange if no one was. This is, after all, not Earth. Everyone back there is probably looking for you or worried. For that I'm sorry, there is a chance that in the future I could try again but it took special materials to get back with all of you. Special materials that I no longer have in the right portions." Allowing it to sink in, Wu Hai got to the point.

He spoke slowly and paused briefly between each sentence, forcing his energy out to bring a sense of intimidation. He wasn't interested in someone trying to tell him what was, it was a new world they knew nothing about.

"You could die, by stepping on a bug." ..,

"You could die, only to anger a supreme-like being and doom us all."..,

"You can grow stronger, and even fight against such an existence."..,

"But it will be because you choose to.." ..,

"The biggest hurdles you will face are quite literally in your mind." Looking around he grabbed one of the people up front. "Doubt me?" Wu Hai furled his brows.

The Prince pulled a crystal from his storage ring and passed it over.

"Swallow it." The expression on Zao Wu Hai's face didn't change.

The man had a blank expression on his face, he wasn't expecting to be singled out but he was first in line.

Kuzunoha and the Onmyoji that she had brought along watched with anticipation. To them, this was already a marvelous city and the Palace. The abnormal nature and divine patterns on the exterior only showed the greatness of this Worlds Craftsmen.

The Onmyoji were wide eyed when the man grabbed the crystal.

It didn't take much for him to gather the courage but he had still paused before he swallowed the medium sized crystal. It was a bold Orange color, close to mustard. The feeling that the crystal gave off in his hands felt like it could grind the world down bit by bit.

Wu Hai didn't know exactly what the orange crystals did, but even among the orange crystals, there were subtle differences. He wouldn't feel bad about experimenting on the new arrivals, since the side effects were easily changed with the Cup and Dice. The choice to grab at power was ultimately their own and there was no turning back.

He still had to grant them power, the ability to defend themselves. It was a promise he had made. If they didn't have power, any at all, they would be unable to cope with the wildness of the world. Additionally, it was impossible for them to use the dice without Wu Hai first activating them but the natural crystalline forms of energy in this world could change everything. Ingesting the Crystals, they could form a source for their power. It would be enough to just give them a fighting chance in the world.

With a serious expression, Wu Hai waited a few more seconds and didn't notice a change in the Man.

Then it happened.

Slowly, the Man's fingers began became soft particles ... and crumbled into dust.

Wu Hai was alarmed at the change but not too worried. The experience rocked the group, they were wondering what had just happened and their faces were somewhat grim. He shook his head and stopped the people from gossiping with his next action.

He started talking to the pile of dust.. "Calm yourself." The Prince looked like he had lost his mind.

There was no answer.

"Your power went rampant. It happens. Think of something pleasant." Wu Hai wondered how long it would take.

The group in the lobby looked startled, the man had turned to dust in front of their eyes. There was still no answer but the pile of ash and dust looked like it was trembling.

The others looked with astonishment when they noticed the sifting heap.

"When you visualize yourself, don't think about it too much. All you have to do is think about standing up with a confused or excited look. You have to manifest it in your mind, otherwise, I'm afraid you're just going to remain a pile of dirt and be mistaken for a mess that needs to be cleaned up." The Prince tried using the carrot and stick at the same time.

Wu Hai hoped that his advice and lecturing would work fast, he was losing face by the minute.

A wisp of dust began to swirl, under the strained gazes of those who had come closer. None of them dared breathing it in and they stood there silent like statues waiting for changes.

Attracting forces within the man's body had kicked in and slowly, a being made of smoke and ash manifested. He had been broken down into a bondless form. A freak if he was on earth, but a difficult opponent in his new World. It would take a great deal to harm him, from his appearance, he looked like a batch of soot thrown from the fire, manifested into a persona.

The man tried to speak but it didn't work. Nothing came from his mouth as it moved.

"Don't worry about speaking too much, your voice will return in time. You must relearn. You do not know what you think you know any longer." The time it took to exhibit the changes from this man to the group was fairly short, but the wait itself had been suspenseful so Wu Hai had been continually elaborating for the Man.

Wu Hai had to get to know everyone present.

Slowly but surely, over the course of about an hour he had sorted some them into categories inside of his head. He wasn't Qu but he had a fair memory.

"I have some ideas for you all, the most important part is your willingness. You're free. Free to do whatever you want to do. So long as you don't harm the clan or my friends." Wu Hai had a lot on his mind and got on with his quasi-orientation.

"Outside are buildings, most of them are unused at the moment. We built them knowing that eventually more people would come to our City. What's a City if there are no homes? Back to the point.. They are less than 2 months old, so you might be the first to live in them. Pick which ever ones you want, open shops if you want, come to me or Qu for any needs you have in the beginning. I'd like to see what you accomplish. I am sure we will meet your immediate and future needs." Wu Hai was not speaking to them as the Man who rescued them but an Elder and Prince of the Zao Clan. They had expectations he was trying to live up to.

Wu Hai had more to say and he could feel that his grasp of their attention was coming to a peak. He said, "This is a world that fantasy novelists would write about. You have only the one life, cherish it or you will surely die."

He took a deep breath before getting to the meat of the subject. "This world has alchemists, blacksmiths, monster hunters, flying people, other races and magic. We don't have electricity or standardized law. Most of the territory belongs to the other races, or the beasts. What you want to do with your new lives here will be limited only by your own disinterest. I hope you choose to take some self-interest and when you're satisfied and happy, repay the sect." Wu Hai wasn't interested in cheap talk, he laid it all out in front of them. They had to make the effort themselves.

"The Future could be limitless but what's to stop the monsters outside from stamping us out later?" Someone said under their breath.

"You are.." another of the group snapped at the pessimism and turned his head away.

The entire group of emigrants needed to be prepared, he didn't have another choice but to explain everything.

When he was about to continue ranting, he heard a loud yell and waved.

He vanished again.

Wu Hai had used the tower token to move to the birthing room again directly.. "What's wrong?" When the words were escaping his mouth, he saw his father holding two babies.

Master Jiang was holding one as well and Doctor Dibali was still working to bring a fourth into the world.

"..Four." Wu Hai knew what was up, but his mother hadn't. She thought she was having one baby perhaps two but the joke was on his Father.

"Four babies, Four Baby Boys. Haha... Father is extremely potent!" Prince Zhan, Wu Hai's older brother, fist pumped toward his Father in celebration before he realized that his own wife was going into labor.

"Hold on Rachael. Doctor, how much longer do you need?" Zhan looked frustrated, but Doctor Dibali was on top of the matter already.

"She is fine, your wife will give birth like normal. It was your mother that needs help and I'm almost done." Doctor Dibali cut the last umbilical cord and brought over a bucket.

"Okay, Rachael.. I'd ask how many weeks its been since you've been pregnant but who knows what time is like here.." After observing her dilation, Dr. Dibali came to the conclusion that he could induce labor if she really wanted but only after Master Jiang was finished healing Calistown's wounds.

Master Jiang didn't even bother to wait for a signal. Once Doctor Dibali had pulled away, Master Jiang watched the wound up close up neatly after pouring some healing potion into her mouth and channeling some of his power.

"Thank you!" Looking over at her babies, her four new baby boys, Calistown frowned.

"Boys.." She clicked her tongue a bit and scoffed at the same time. "Four of them... Really, Ooran.. Really??" Shaking her head, she smiled and winked.

The Patriarch was filled with joy, they had four more Sons to pass on their lineage.

"You did well my love, do you want to hold one or.. two of your children??" With another grin Ooran passed just one of the boys to his Wife.

"Are you ready?" Before the Matriarch could finish her words, Doctor Dibali called out to Rachael.

"Push." Watching her contractions, he counted on his fingers and waited.

"and.. Push." Dr. Dibali was trying to get Rachael's breathing under control.

"You're doing fine." Doctor Dibali was doing very good, coaching a first time parent in another world was invigorating no matter the outcome..

The Sect didn't have a Doctor, perhaps it was fated that he had come.

A scream came from somewhere deep inside of Rachael. It captivated the room and silenced everyone.

"ZHAN!!" The anger was insincere but Rachael was pushing and it was painful.

"One more push and then we can start on the second." Dr. Dibali was certain it wouldn't take too much longer, he had been trained well on Earth before his capture. As a former Surgeon, he had delivered a lot of babies.

"Come on, push." Doctor Dibali was feeling a bit proud, delivering Quadruplets and then another set of twins directly afterward would be a record for him.

He had been locked away in a dungeon in Shanghai for a long time, to be doing what he loved before he was kidnapped, was a gift from Heaven.

With a cry, a young voice rang out, a high pitched screaming cry.

"Its a Girl!, now.. hold on and take a deep breath. Then, control your breathing and get ready to push some more." Doctor Dibali handed the baby girl to Zhan, cut the cord and went back to work.

"A Girl. Zhan, You're a Father!" Wu Hai was smiling from ear to ear, he was an Uncle. His clan was not only growing significantly but he could see the love.

Zao Zhan couldn't take his eyes off his Daughter. Zhan's eyes began to water, he held his tears. They were tears of joy but his wife was still screaming, another child was still on the way.

"You win again Zhan." Wu Hai patted his brother's shoulder and walked over to his Mother and Father.

'You're a good Brother, I hope you'll be an even better Uncle.' Zhan wanted to thank his younger brother but they were rivals.

"PUSH!" Doctor Dibali called out again but with a much more serious tone.

A cry came, one that matched the first.

"Its another Girl!" Grabbing another bucket, Doctor Dibali waited for the afterbirth and then cleaned himself up.

"You both did very well, Mister Jiang.. You can heal her when you have a free hand." Doctor Dibali was a surgeon on Earth, he was use to ordering people around in the operating room.

When Dr. Dibali noticed his own attitude, he calmed down and spoke slower. "Sorry, old habits die hard. Thank you Mister Jiang, this would have been much more difficult without you, I don't know if everything is going to be fine but the children look healthy."

Wu Hai stared at the six new additions to his family. Four more Brothers and Two nieces. Patriarch Ooran looked over at his second born son and suddenly realized something.

"Wu Hai, you're such an ass! You knew.. didn't you?? That's why you laughed at me when... Dammit! Why didn't you tell me?!" Patriarch Ooran remembered it distinctly.

'Four, Hahahahaha' The words Wu Hai had used repeated over and over in the Patriarch's head..

"I should have known, your comments are never blind. Well, Its a joyous occasion. Let me spend some time with your Mother, and allow your Brother some time alone with his Bride and first born Children." The words were sound advice, Wu Hai didn't dally and was about to make his way back to the Pagoda Lobby.

The talisman for controlling the tower had never left his body even when he went to Earth.

"Then I would never have seen this expression on your face. Although thinking about how Mother was suffering and how the birth was complicated, I'm very sorry that I didn't speak up in hindsight." Looking to his mother for forgiveness Wu Hai clasped his hands with respect. Wu Hai had stopped himself ahead of time and chided his Father a bit. It was the last time he would be able to do so as his youngest son.

"Its alright, I already knew this pregnancy was different, I just didn't know how different it was until today. Also, Thank you Doctor Dibali." Calistown looked at her babies.

Afterwards, Calistown turned to Rachael. "Lucky little girl.. I had to wait till my third to have a daughter."

Rachael didn't know what to say, she was still recovering from the pain and focusing on her children. "Thank you, Mother."

The Two smiled and Wu Hai walked out of the room with Zhan and Ooran with Doctor Dibali.

"You were really fortunate that you managed to bring someone like me here, if your Mother had tried to give birth without the help I just gave her... she would have died and so would have those babies." Doctor Dibali was pleased with himself for his work, and rightfully so.

"I recognize that you're a capable doctor. This world is abundantly different than Earth. I suspect that you'll grow to be integral in our Clan. So, i'm going to offer you healing magic, if you want it. Unless you'd rather have something else ..of course." Wu Hai didn't want to alienate or force anything on the good doctor but he was a little more than excited at the possibility.

"Healing Magic sounds like it's right up my alley but honestly.. do you think I'm capable of Magic? I wouldn't even know where to begin." Doctor Dibali was all the more curious, not from a recipient point of view but from what was going to happen to his body. As a doctor, the process of giving someone the ability to perform magic seemed like a fascinating subject, much like transplants.

Wu Hai flipped over his hands and pulled out one of the last Lightning Gems and passed it over. He had done the same before with the Cheng Twins and he knew the outcome of it's ingestion. "Eat this, It will give you the ability to control lightning. After you eat it, I'm going to have you roll until the die lands on Healing. When that happens, you'll have the healing ability permanently. Control over it will be entirely up to you."

"This is a Clan Secret. If you reveal the source of this power to anyone in this World outside of the Clan, you will become a Blood Enemy." Saying it just loud enough so that everyone could hear, Wu Hai laid down the impression that betrayal was out of the question.

Wu Hai watched the Doctor roll the dice.

Several of the new arrivals were admiring Darkwing and Genba. That was, until the Cheng Brothers smelled their booze and came looking.

"Thanagarians!" Someone from the group gasped in reaction, Abi had also taken on the form but she had largely kept her appearance.

"No, that's from a comic book, those wings are real!" Another of the refugees replied.

"Who gave you this wine?" Mu moved to picked up the case, he was ignoring the others.

"Those are mine, brother." Yu laid claim to them, despite knowing the truth.

"Fine. Let fists do the talking!" Mu didn't hesitate and swung towards his brother.

Qu rushed over and restrained them both.

"Today? Truly, stop this nonsense and show some respect. The Patriarch has arrived." Qu released the restraint spell and walked toward the throne to stand beside Master Wu.

With a projected voice, Prince Wu Hai called out to everyone in the Tower. "Please make your way over here. My Father, the Patriarch has a few words to say."

Ooran stood next to his son, he was extremely proud and started roaring loudly, "My name is Zao Ooran, Patriarch of the Zao Clan. This is our home, the newly established city of Zao. Today, the Matriarch gave birth to four strong Sons and my Daughter-in-law, Rachael gave birth to twin baby girls. I see 127 of you."

Quickly counting, Ooran kept speaking. "Now, our clan grows to even more! Come, introduce yourselves and tell me about what you want to do with your life. Tonight we drink, tomorrow we work. Qu! Can we get some food for everyone?" Patriarch Ooran called out and Qu quickly snapped his fingers, pulling out some prepared food to overfeed the entire group.

"Lets Eat, Drink, then get some rest." Patriarch Ooran raised a toast to the room.

"To the Zao Clan, and to Wu Hai for making it all possible." … …

"!!TO THE ZAO CLAN!" A rousing cheer spread out among the new arrivals, their new lives were about to begin.
