"Its a fine day isn't it Mei"
"That it is Shiko-chan"
"What are you both talking about" scawled Zabuza looking at the mist covered water around the boat.
"Ahh Zabuza-sensei leave them be there just being dramatic fufufu"
"Chu whatever" said Zabuza turning his head away from his young student.
We are currently headed towards main lad Kiri to take over the village. We will do this by first taking out the support Yagura had and then telling the masses of what had happened. In the end any sympathizers would be weeded out over time and we could start rebuilding the village in Mei's vision. Feeling someone watching me from somewhere above me i look in the direction and find nothing there.
"Hey Shiko-chan" interrupted Mei from my thoughts.
"Yes Mei"
"When we're done and I'm Mizukage I was thinking of having you, Haku and Zabuza as my bodyguards how does that sound" asked Mei while looking at me from the corner of her eye.
"Its not a bad idea im up for it how about you Zabuza, Haku"
"It would be my honor to serve you as the Mizukage Mei-san" Haku nodded her head in agreement.
"Yeah what ever i guess I got nothing better to do" replied Zabuza with a nonchalant air to him. In response we all gave him a deadpan look.
"Zabuza-sensei don't try and act cool its kind of creepy" replied Haku while inching down the seat alittle.
"Whats that supposed to mean brat"
"Nothing sensei nothing at all HaHa" with her hands up Haku slid further from him.
Cutting the chatter after that we could see land coming into view. As we got off the boat we were greeted by a squad of anbu getting ready to attack i was stopped by Mei.
"Hold on Shiko-chan lets see what they have to say" Mei said while putting her hand on her hip.
"Terumī Mei, Mochi Zabuza, Yuki Haku and Yorokobi Shiko you are summoned by the council please follow us and don't make any sudden moves" the anbu in front said. Looking at each other we nodded at Mei as she took the lead.
While we followed the leader the other 3 had spread out and circled us.
"Mei you know this is a trap right" i wispered while looking around and seeing multiple shadows indicating there was more then one group currently with us.
"Yes Shiko-chan but this is a way to get in easier then planned. Haku, Zabuza get ready to retaliate as soon as they attack we will fight our way to the council and take out the corrupt ones you as well Shiko" without answering out load we all nod our heads.
Ariving at the hidden most the first thing i noticed was the amount of homeless there were around both adult and children. I wasn't the only one that noticed the other three also had as well making some serious faces as we steeled our salves for the battle to come. We eventually made it to a big building that i suppose was Yagura's office, Speaking of him he was currently in a coma and had yet to wake up.
We had been lead into a room with 3 older shinobi who i guess were the main Council. As we all finished walking in each of our thoughts had kunai pointed at them by multiple anbu. Activating my right eye stealthily I quickly searched amy form of genjutsu that might be on the people in the room. What I found shocked me the entire village had a genjutsu over it and it felt like one of Obitos but this one was weaker them Yagura's. Quickly deactivating the genjutsu all around us each and every person around our group grabs there heads in pain.
"Whats happening"
"Whats happened, how could we, how did we HAAA" screamed one of the three council members.
"What your feeling now it a strong genjutsu being dispelled it was effecting your decisions and thoughts from what i could tell" I said while looking at the shinobi around us.
"Yes there was also one on Yagura as well as the three tails" said Mei while looking at me.
We then went on to tell the council what had heppened to them from Mei's point of view explaining to them how there most recent actions were not there own but someone else's. By the end the councilmen and shinobi around us looked astonished that such a thing could happen.
"What do we do now, our village is in ruins and our people divided" asked one of the councilmen looking down at the ground.
"I suggest you hand over the Mizukage position to me and retire, I will handle the rest from there"
"I suppose that would be for the best you have freed our minds for us.
"Come lets go have a seat and discuss this further we cant fully make a decision without finding out what type of person you are can we" said the last councilmen in the room. As we were moving rooms to have our talk the other ninjas were told to go away for the time being and that nothing they heard today should get out untill it was announced publicly.
With that we had all sat down for the next couple of hours discussing Mei and her qualifications for being Mizukage. While that was happening I could feel that same thing agian as if someone was watching me. Looking in the direction it was coming from all i could see from where i was feeling it was the moon turning on both my right eye mongekuo and feeling with my sage mode I had found nothing. Not thinking much of it i focused back on the meeting. The next day a announcement would be sent out of the next Mizukage being found and that more would be revealed soon. The mist around the village lessened that day alone with a bit of the gloomy atmosphere marking the start of a new era for the hidden mist.
