Chapter 2 - The first meeting

Wanting to be sure, the girl asked "are you miss witch by any chance,? The witch look at her with a smile on her face and replied "so they call me that huh,?" "Even tho this is what humans call me, I go by Luna" the witch said withal rather friendly smile "so now that you know my name, what is yours" the witch asked the girl looking curiously at her. The girl tilted her head with a clueless look on her face, she said "I don't have one" "hm?, how is that possible?" The witch wondered out loud. " don't humans have guardians that give them names?" "I don't have a family" the girl replied, with a blank expression on her face. "This is why I came to you, miss Luna" the girl continued. "Ahh, right, what is it you want me to do for you" Luna questioned "I need a heart," The girl said.

"what's wrong with yours?" Luna asked

"I don't have one" the girl replied

" so you don't have a name, a family, nor a heart, are you sure, you are human?" Luna said, looking even more curious about this girl than before. "I don't know" the girl said, with a blank stare on her face. "Ok, then do you know the rules I have ," Luna asked the girl with a wicked smile on her face. "I never asked, will you tell me" the girl said to Luna. "Hahaha, so you came here completely unaware of what my terms were, you are a very brave girl, I like you" Luna said, with sparkles in her eyes. "Since you are so brave, I will help you on only one condition" Luna the witch said to the girl "what might this condition be, miss Luna," the girl asked with curiosity in her eyes.

"I must always be first in your heart, never forget that" Luna said with a smile on her face. "In other words, I should remember that "my heart" will always belong to you,?" "Wow, you are very smart" Luna said while clapping "what's the use of having a heart that's controlled by others," the girl replied, looking a little dissatisfy "girl, I see you have a lot to learn." " let me tell you this, as long as you are human, your heart can never be truly yours" "the reason you are so unaffected by everything and everyone in this world, is precisely because you are without a heart" "because the human heart is the most powerful and dangerous thing in the whole universe" "so I will ask you again, do you still want a heart?" "I..I don't know, I just want to feel whole"

"Okay, I'll give you a week to decide" " till then, make yourself at home" Luna said while pointing to her little house. "Thank you" the girl said with a smile "wow, who knew you could make that expression, if I hadn't just seen that, I would have assumed you had no emotions," Luna laughed as she walked towards the girl pulled her hands and said "let me give you a tour of the house" the girl nodded in embarrassment as she followed behind Luna. After the tour, Luna offered her some food because she had not eaten in a while. As they ate Luna asked her "since you don't really have a family, where did you live your whole life?" "In the slums, I found a little cottage, that was where I live my whole life," the girl said, expressionlessly. "Don't you miss it, your little home I mean,?" "Why would i, I always knew I'd leave some day" the girl replied

"I'm speechless, I have never met a human like you in my whole life," you just get more interesting with every word" "miss Luna, how about you, do you also not have any one?," the girl asked, while staring curiously at Luna. "First, don't call me miss, I'm just a few hundred years old, in human years, I'm still in my early twenties" "okay mis- I mean, Luna" the girl said, looking a little uncomfortable. "Second, me and you are not the same, I don't need to have any one at my side, you do" Luna said, looking kinda irritated. "So Luna also has no one huh," the girl said, with a mocking tone. "What do you mean by that," Luna said, with a visible frown on her face. "I'm just saying, earlier you said there were other people here but I'm seeing no one," the girl said while looking around "so you really are human huh?" Luna replied with a disappointment look on her face. "At the very least, I would like to think I am" the girl said, with a slight smile on her face. "Anyways, I do have people I live with, they are what you humans call ghosts" Luna replied to the girl. "Hm, this place is more unique than I thought" the girl said while looking around again. "That's to be expected, after all I am a witch " Luna said while giving the girl a half smile "I would have never guess you were a witch if not for your appearance, you seem... like a human" the girl said to Luna. "Well, Because of how cruel humans are to people who are different, I had to adapt so I could stay alive" "I must say, I'm impressed you've survived this long considering how odd you are, you really are very brave" Luna said with a somewhat sad look in her eyes. "Just like you, I don't need anyone, and I also don't have a sense of attachment to others, so it's not really bravery. It's more like a low tolerance for humans because I prefer being alone." The girl responded with a blank expression on her face. Luna was taken aback, she had never met a human like this girl, she became even more interested in her with every word.
