Whilst we were locked in the car, he seemed to be on the phone for awhile. Waiting for back up to clean up his mess.
His personality seems to be worse than mine, a little too careless. Not seeming to frankly give a fuck.
The Katana that had been carefully hidden in a compartment outside of his car, seemed to have been tossed away? I wonder why I haven't lashed out yet?- Is it simply because the situation is just so bizarre.
Approaching one of men-clearly the guy in charge, who I recognised from back at the hotel. Speaking in Japanese, as a younger guy- his lackey trailed behind him after wiping down his blade.
Fiddling with his phone, several clicks and beeps went off in the car. The steering wheel or race car like features disappeared. As did the light blue glow of the table, which apparently powered down and flipped over seamlessly in the space just before the clutch.
What the hell just happened, what kind of transformers shit was that? It seemed that even the GPS changed back to the standard. Even after opening up the car door of the drivers seat, with a slight sparkle in his eyes as he didn't even pay us any mind.
Well I suppose looking at Nico's slightly drooling face would incite laughter from anyone. Pulling out his blazer left on the car seat, he noticed my slightly exasperated expression. He clawed his mask down to his chin and pressed a thin and slender finger against his plump red lips.
It was a like a moth to a flame, I simply couldn't look away- that kind of nonchalance and with those mysterious eyes that flickered beneath his overgrown bangs. Holding a kind of obscure clarity, like a burst of lightning in a ravenous storm, when it strikes that burst of light is the only thing you can see.
I could feel my breath quicken and face heat up slightly, not even noticing how soaked with blood he was that it made the car slightly reek with a metallic smell.
At that moment I couldn't process anything until his face was out of view, surely I just felt exhausted because of the long day. I wouldn't even think about other possibilities- that's just wrong.
This... son of a bitch.
They traded keys before his figure drifted off with the rest of the group, bright yellow flames burning behind us as 'Akito' drove us back to the hotel. Z's blade laying casually against the door, as if was the most natural thing in the world.
Rolling down the window, feeling the cold air against my skin I asked curiously. "Wasn't Z my bodyguard?"
"Z only works temporarily or when the boss asks him to... He isn't affiliated with Shino group." Akito replies curtly, his eyes on the road creating a tense atmosphere.
"Are you sure you should be telling me this- aren't you afraid I'll come and take him off your hands?" Alex's blue eyes narrowing with skepticism.
Coal like eyes showed a trace of a leer, before returning to there emotionless state.
"Z is someone who was personally picked up and cultivated by the former bosses hand... I was strictly informed to tell you such things." Gripping the wheel tightly, his knuckles whitening. "He is someone who can act childishly and inappropriately at times, however he's been in this business since he was fourteen. I guess you can say... this is how he shows his grief."
My eyes widen at this sudden revelation, my mouth drying with anger and discomfort. What was I doing at fourteen? I probably held my first gun then, learning how to use it etc.
"Grief?"
Looking at him hesitantly in the rear view mirror, thinking about what to say he said. "Z was one of the survivors of one of the... child tr-trafficking rings that the former boss helped to extinguish." His cold eyes boring into the road ahead. "Because he works occasionally with the group... he hasn't done an oath. He is still practically a child, when he works for you don't have him sign one."
With a cold laugh, I thought back to his artful killing - Is that what they call a child, how ridiculous.
"How else is he supposed to show his sincerity to me and the family." The black diamond ring resting on his knee, gleaming a little maliciously.
"That Katana is... HIS sincerity to you."
"Wwhat?" What the fuck.
"May be you won't understand our culture.. That Katana was once a cheap ornamental sword, the blade which was rusted killed the five men that held him and others hostage." He explained solemnly.
"He was the only one who survived, because he was too exhausted to kill himself."
Nico had a black look on his face, a strangely serious expression on his face. "What about the other hostages?"
"After being defiled, those three other kids begged him to kill them."
In the car there was an eerie silence as they thought about the handsome, frivolous kid.
"The former boss took him to his hometown, where - its a 100%, real Japanese blade now. The fact that he's letting another person touch it never-mind keep it in their possession says enough."
"Sure." Alex said thinking, combing his hand through his hair.
Hmm. A real wolf in sheep's clothing.
-Alexandre- -Dream-
It was completely without light, my eyes unable to open. With a sense of weightlessness, as if I were to move wouldn't I immediately fall? The gentle sound of gurgling could be heard, until I felt water seep into my scalp.
My hair mixing in the water, as i felt the iciness stream down my face and seep into my clothes. Making me gasp, shivering my eyes twitched as they opened sluggishly. Unsure of where I was, the place seemed to stretch out for miles but I couldn't move. White clothes cling to my body as light filtered down on this dark space? Like floating along in a large well.
The sky a vibrant blue, mixed with shades of purple and orange as the clouds drifted along softly. Like a mirror it reflected the peaceful image, unable to focus on nothing but the sky. Unaware of being watched by a pair of innocent, mischievous eyes.
A petite girl with a slight blush on her tender cheeks, sat covertly almost hidden between the long strands of grass. Her silky black, shoulder length hair draped over her face only slightly revealing a pair of ash coloured eyes. Not exactly black, but like the colour of shadows.
Wearing an all black two piece school uniform, consisting of a sailor shirt with a black bow and a skirt that reached just above her knees. Her skin almost translucent was smooth with a lustre like milk.
Approaching the surface of the water, her black pumps just touching the water she asked him with a soft smile taking a glance at what Alex was blankly looking at. "あなたは雲がどのように感じると思いますか?" ("What do you think a cloud feels like?")
Her soft voice echoed around the space, startling him as he jerked his head to look at her.
His words stuck in his throat as she waited for him patiently to answer her, his body heavy as he tried to force himself to the surface. But instead made him sink deeper in the vast pool of water, forming large ripples distorting the image of the peaceful sky.
Everything immediately went black, the sky, the clear water-becoming murky as reeds and something broken coral tugged against his skin as he splashed around looking desperately.
'She was just there!'
Suddenly he could hear something hissing, the sound gradually becoming clearer as something pulled him downwards by his ankles. His hands outwards trying to grab onto something desperately, the taste of dirty water filled his lungs. Black sludge slathered all over his clothes, as he was pulled into the depths.
The 'thing' that was both cold and slimy caught both of his legs, as it tightly wound round him like thread wound tightly round a bobbin.
Or like a snake capturing its prey.
It's was as a big as a man and it's skin was white with red eyes simply staring at him, pondering as to continue to tease or feast.
"Did you forget what you did?" A throaty voice asked as it wound tightly round his neck, restricting his ability to breathe.
Shaking his body and closing his eyes, feeling a thin forked tongue flicking against his forehead.
"What you did to her." It hissed. The snake forcing his eyes shut as he saw a petite girl thrown to the ground, in his mind.
Forced to the feet of some garishly dressed Asian men, a large swollen cheek a ghastly bright red. Blood dribbled down her nose and stained her upper teeth, as she had her hands spread out on to the floor. As if she were begging, her head low and eyes wet with quiet tears.
Looking at the person coldly between disorderly hair, suddenly her head was dragged backwards by one of the men revealing the red handprint on her neck. Seemed to have been initially clawed at as dark red scabs formed, a bitter smile tugging up her lips. The door slamming shut as they dragged her in.
"Don't you remember now?" Hearing to the vibrations close to his ear.
His breathing quickened when suddenly the snake unwound itself and swam away, the black sludge forming thinner snakes like small worms as their small mouths grazed his skin raw, sharp teeth like razor blades biting into muscle. Propelling themselves upwards and forcing there way into the orifices on his face.
"Je ne le saurais pas même si je le touchais." ("I wouldnt know even if i touched it.") The voice taunted, repeating the words he'd said once.

Still able to smell and taste of rotten water in his mouth, holding his throat as his eyes flashed open with a strong urge to vomit.
His blue eyes dilated and darting with anxiety, hands shaking and the sheets swamped with sweat.
"Yukari."
