A few hours passed, Raphael's face a thin shade of rose the whole time, not sure of how to respond to the question. "You're going to need to sleep again." Said the Devil as she stopped in front of a short blue tent with a thin mat, blanket and a pillow in it. Raphael took a short look at the tent, but when he turned to see the devil she was already walking back into the fields, disappearing among the thick fog once again. Just like before when he collapsed into the mat he felt like he was being pressed down into it until not even 1 minute later, he was out.
When his eyes slowly opened, he was warm once again, he was back on the same cliff, in the same field, with the same sun. The wind was gone but he paid no attention to it. Step by step he looked around. He couldn't see the devil anywhere but the cliff from before had less grass, it was sharp and rocky. When he walked over to it he felt the wind once again but this time against his back, pushing him towards it. He turned back around to step away, only to the Devil there once again, maybe 3 feet away, this time in a dark blue flamenco style dress with a violet jewel in a necklace around her shoulders. Her emerald eyes bright and vivid staring through him to his soul.
"When did you walk up behind me?" Raphael asked, stepping towards her. Without responding she walked up to. As she got closer Raphael started stepping back until his heels were on the cliffside and she was a foot from him. "Why did you call me lucy?" asked the devil as she reached out her hands. Raphael instinctively reached one hand out to hers, "I don't know, maybe I felt vulnerable? Maybe I wasn't paying attention in my shame." He stated as she clasped his hand in hers. "Maybe you feel safe around me? Maybe you like forgetting life and focusing on the pretty girl that's kind to you." She said as she stepped closer to him, placing his hand on her hip.
The two just looked into each other's eyes for a moment, the Devil eventually led raphaels other hand to her waist as the two began to sway back and forth, the wind still pushed on Raphael but he didn't seem fazed, being able to hold her made him feel safe. He felt simple, step by step, slowly dancing away until in one spin, Raphael saw himself and The devil falling off the cliff, down to the jagged rocks below, every second an eternity as they fell, the Devil smiling with tears in her eyes as they did.. A short eternity until just before hitting the rocks. He was awake, sitting in a cold sweat staring around.
