Gyles
We walk back to the house and the silence is awkward. I know he wants to ask me questions. I know he might have heard me talking to Eleanor but it feels like he is just walking on eggshells with me.
Our conversations haven't been the best, I know I play a part in that but it is not all my fault and I want to try and make things better with him.
"Was she the one you were talking to?'' he asks me suddenly, still not looking at me.
His voice is calm, it is almost like he just wants to genuinely know. He is not trying to pick a fight.
"Yeah,'' I answer honestly.
He nods as we keep walking "What did she want?''
"I don't know, it was the same old story. She wants me to help her, she said I could set them free by finding the room.''
He nods "Oh, it is my house, right?''
I nod and this time, he turns to me "We are going to go back, I am going to fix this."
