I open my eyes and they are still in the position that they were in when I saw everything. I don't want to interrupt El because there is a possibility that he is seeing all the things I just saw.
I know for a fact that I am not just a hallucination. All the things I saw in my head felt real. I try to look at the mark on Jabi's neck. The one that I gave him, to see if there is anything different but the way he is sitting down makes it hard to see.
After a couple of minutes, Eligio opens his eyes and I walk closer to them.
"Did you see it?'' I ask immediately.
Even before he answers my question. I see the expression on his face and before he utters the words, I know that what he is about to say is not good.
"His memory is intact. There is nothing new from what he said.''
My hands are shaking as the words leave his lips.
