The next day, he wakes me up again and that same smile is still on his face. The one he went with last night. The one that lets me know that everything that happened is long forgotten. He leans forward and slowly rests his forehead on mine, his eyes closing slowly.
"Am I allowed to go to school today?'' I ask him because I want us to talk about it. I want to know if he is okay with me being friends with Lenny.
"Can I stop you?'' he asks me.
I lean forward and kiss him on the lips and he kisses me back. "I still want to go. I don't want to stop.''
He nods as he pulls away from me, the smile is still on his face "Then we are going to do what you want to do.' he smiles and jumps up from the bed. I watch him as he stretches out his hands for me. I take them in mine and he pulls me off the bed. He wraps his arms around my waist and plants a kiss on my forehead.
