"You should talk to your man,'' Darrien tells me as he leaves the house. I look at him with a raised brow because I know he spent the day with him. Which makes me think the worst. I have had issues with leaving him alone these days. I just worry when I am not with him and I have had a lot on my plate lately.
"Is he okay?'' I ask him.
He raises his hands in the air "I can't be the one to tell you this. Maybe just sit down with him and really have a conversation.'' he tells me as I watch him leave. I don't even get a chance to thank him for spending the day with him. Lanis is the easiest person to be with. He is not demanding.
I walk back to our room with a bag in my grip. I had to go to town to get this for Lanis. I just want to help in the small ways I can.
