"What the fuck is this Gyles?'' I ask him, completely confused with this situation. I came to his room to try and convince him to come back to the guest quarters because I didn't want him alone and this is what I find.
He drops the book and it falls to the ground with a loud thud.
"I don't know how this got here, I swear,'' he is shaking uncontrollably right here. His face is white, almost like he just saw a ghost. I've seen him scared before but never like this.
I walk over to him and grab his hands in mine. I want to be upset because there is a part of me that is wary of this situation. He was so adamant about staying alone tonight.
