"Hey,'' Badger opens the door to my room and walks in with a smile on his face. I jump up from my chair because he is not supposed to be here. My phone is still in my grip as he walks closer to me. I was just texting him. I didn't expect him to be in my room.
"What are you doing here?'' I ask him immediately. My eyes keep swaying to the door, almost like I am about to get caught or something. I have never brought a guy into my room. I have always been a stickler for the rules.
"I missed you,'' he pulls me into his arms and for a second, I welcome him wholeheartedly. Having someone that gives you warmth is the best feeling ever and in his arms right now, in this moment, I feel secure. Everything that happened in the last hour is gone for a second.
"You can't be here,'' I breathe into his chest as my head rests on it gently. He caresses the top of my hair and I take a long breath, wanting to enjoy this for a second longer.
