I get out of Rex's head just as I see Levine run out of the basement and out of the house. I see the big oak tree. The one we passed when we first drove into the estate. I recognize it immediately and that shows me exactly where they are. Just a couple of houses from Blue's house. Blue is watching me as I let go of rex and he comes back to us.
He opens his eyes immediately. He is sweating profusely. His eyes are wide and he is still trembling. I know he saw what I saw. He knows everything that is happening. He will know where they are too.
"Something is happening with Levine. He is going to hurt her,'' He blurts out exactly what I am thinking and if we don't get there on time, we might end up not being able to save her. I still don't know what transpired between them and maybe I don't want to know. I know that she had something to do with killing blue's mother and that is something that can't be forgiven.
