Everything is a blur but the pain is still strong. If I feel this way after taking the remedy that Major gave me, how would I have felt without it?
I am in another bed, in the room they kept me earlier. I don't even know how the whole thing ended. I don't even remember anything but the look of Gyles and Blue's faces. The worry in their eyes. I could tell that watching the whole thing was difficult for them and the second they left the room, I noticed their absence. I feel Gyles next to me in the bed. I don't know how long I have been sleeping. Everything is exhausting.
My whole body hurts.
He is holding me tightly, almost like he is afraid to let go of me. I know he is not asleep from the gentle caresses on my hair. His touch is like electricity, somehow, it makes me feel alive and I don't want him to let go.
