I hear the voice but I am still stuck in dreamland. This is all in my head right. I pull Gyles closer, my eyes are still closed. I am enjoying the comfort of his body heat. I take a deep breath as I try to go back to sleep mode, I don't feel the sunlight, so it can't be morning yet.
"Rex,'' the voice calls my name. I feel Gyles move against me, at first his movement is slow but in an instant, he jumps off the bed. This makes me open my eyes and the surprise I see is not what I expected. For a second, I thought Blue came into my room.
"Beau,'' I call his name as I try to rub the sleep out of my eyes. There is a smile on his face, almost like he is amused at the situation. I pull the covers over my chest, Gyles is just sitting there like a deer caught in headlights. I know that this is awkward for him but I am glad that it Beau that caught us and not Blue.
