Lanis handled everything a lot better than I thought he would. I actually thought he was going to freak out. I mean, I would've freaked out if the case was reversed. I don't know how he is handling all this with so much dexterity.
I had to ask him, numerous times if he understood what it all meant. The fact that he could lose the most important part of him. he said he doesn't care, that as long as he has me, he will be fine.
Staring at him right now, I realise how lucky I am. His eyes are closed but he is not sleeping. He knows I am staring at him because there is a dreamy smile plastered on his face. I turn around slowly and see that the sun is setting.
