A few days after we got back the people of my home cleared out the connection between our tunnel and the Goblin tunnel. They had built a wall, though with a small door in it much like the main gate and a guard was posted. The only reason that people did this was because I am Rants son and he personally requested it.
I had taken my sewing needle and pierced her ears for the silver hoops. One right above the larger gold hoop an the matching spot on her other ear. Alzi requested that i absorb and learn the new spells as soon as possible. Father saw first hand how my magic worked and how i learn spells. My head didnt hurt no where near as bad as it had before so I didnt need to drink or heal myself.
I practiced with the spells at the river down at the end of the large tunnel. I first tried my Water Manipulation spell and it didnt take long to get the hang of it. Then i tried the summon spell and it went better then was expected. I think it has something to do with the nature of the element. Fire will wildly consume anything it touches so its the hardest to control.
I don't know about the earth element yet but i am curious to see how that works along with the air element. After a few more days we decided to go see Gro and ask if he wanted to go with us up north to my mothers' temple. I really wanted to see it because was something that had to do with Mother. I didnt know anything about her since she ascended right after i was born, due to her being half High-Elf.
Once we were ready to leave we said our goodbyes then started the trip towards Ez Groshne. We hunted right before we got to the Keep so we were able to bring food this time, instead of Gros' family having to feed us, we fed them for a change. We first met with Wrug and offered him the deer we brought, he laughed and picked it up one hand hand and tossed it over his shoulder.
We all went into the chiefs house and met with Morda, Gro and Fenta. Cassa ran up to Fenta and grabbed her tightly making her little churring sound in excitement and Fenta just patted her head. "Good to see you Gro. Are you well?" He raised his chin to me and i did the same before looking to Fenta, "Miss Hammermaid." I nodded to her and she smiled at me. Morda hugged me then took the deer back around to the kitchen area.
"We are going up north to my mothers Temple. Apearently i am to lead the Araqiel Order since my mother founded it." I looked at Gro then Fenta after i spoke. "I will join you on this adventure." Gro spoke up and Fenta frowned at him. "Oi! You are not even gunna ask me?" Wrug started laughing and got a few confused looks, "I may be the Chief, Son. But my wife is always my advisor. Do not ever forget that." Gro nodded to him, "Yes, Father."
They figured it out pretty quickly and both decided to join us. After a little while came back with some freshly cooked meats and some fruits and we ate and drank. We told them all about the Goblin King Kezz and what Cassa did. "You have dishonored your Father." Wrug glared at Cassa and she fire right back at him, "He dishonor me first!" then she stuck her tongue out at him and we all laughed. "Yes. You are right."
After the even started to ware out and we were ll getting sleepy, Morda offered that me and Cassa sleep in a guest bed this time. The Orcs don't get many visitors so they never kept up with things that guests might need. The bed was huge! At least twice the size of my bed back home. We could stretch out on either side and not touch each other, even though we slept right in the middle and cuddled.
We were woken by the alarm horn early that morning. Me and Cassa scrambled to get dressed then ran outside to the main yard. Gro was already there and he yelled up to the sentries. "What's going on?" "Smoke from the valley!" the sentry shouted back and pointed in the direction of Grassbourne. "We have to go help them!" I yelled to Gro and he nodded to me. Wrug, Fenta and Morda came out from the hall and we told them about the smoke.
"Go, my Son. Bring honor to your self." Wrug clapped him on the arm. Morda hugged him then he ran off to the hall as we all followed. We quickly got our armor and weapons together and left the great hall. I looked over at Fenta and saw a new hammer. It was a shade of dark green with a flat square on one side and a blunt dull point on the other. The surprising thing is that was just slightly smaller then her old iron hammer. I could tell it was heavier though from the way she slouched forward to keep its weight more comfortable on her back.
We quickly said goodbyes to everyone then hurried out the front gate. We headed down the path then the main road. It would take us a week to get there on foot and we hoped there would be something worth saving when we got there.
