The contestants went up in turns to make their selection. When it was Liang Changying, she put her hand into the bowl and drew out Li Na's name.
Soon it was Liu Qiao Qiao's turn, she went up the stage, put her hands into the bowl, and selected a random piece of paper. She unfolded the paper and it read
'Producer Lai Zhiqiang' in bold letters.
Liu Qiao Qiao has been feeling very unlucky of late. She had initially dismissed that thought but as she sat on her seat eyes focused on the paper. She couldn't help but believe that thought.
Why does it have to be her, of all the 20 contestants? Why was she the unlucky contestants to pick him?
This is a man that is always never in a good mood, they always clashed whenever they met. Lai Zhiqiang wasn't fond of her and his feeling was neutral.
"Was I going through my thousand years of bad luck or what? Maybe I needed to visit the temple and say some prayers, but with how bad my luck has been these last few weeks on the visit may not be enough" Liu Qiao Qiao thought as she sat through the rest of the filming season.
The judges were laying down the rules for the next elimination rounds, but Liu Qiao Qiao wasn't paying any attention at all. Her thoughts were all gloom and doom.
The other contestants were all happy with their selection, maybe it was because none of them had picked Lai Zhiqiang name on the ballot.
They all felt relieved when Liu Qiao Qiao picked Lai Zhiqiang. Even though a few felt bad for Liu Qiao Qiao, there still felt very relieved.
This was a competition and Liu Qiao Qiao like Liang Changying was a very strong competitor. The sooner she was eliminated the more their chances of winning increased.
Sadly Liu Qiao Qiao wasn't the only person that was thinking of visiting the temple to pray. When the episode aired a few hours later, the very next day the temples around the city were filled with her fans.
They all came to pray for their idol. Among other multitudes present in one of the cities major temples were Liu Qinyang and her mother Ren Jiang.
Liu Qinyang had been having lunch at their family house when the episode aired. She and her mother had tuned in for the episode. Ren Jiang though not familiar with the music industry, after watching the show since the first episode understood Lai Zhiqiang's personally very well.
The next day, she dragged her youngest daughter to the temple to pray. Her middle child had gotten into a jam.
Liu Qinyang was a very popular musician so as she said her prayers, she was recognized by her fans who took some photos and promptly posted them on the internet.
