This was the first debut season of The Next Legendary Musician. The competition was a joint project between Lai Zhiqiang's studios, Phoenix entertainment, Star Entertainment, and LINT TV.
LINT TV had announced the competition a few weeks ago, the registration only began a week ago. It was a national competition, so auditions for the competition were going to be held in every state or region of the country.
Registration for the competition was currently going on and will continue for two more weeks. After the time frame for the registration had elapsed, the open audition would begin.
To take part in the competition, you will have to get the invitation card given by the judges during the open audition.

Xu Yanzhu had been dropped by FnB Sports and replaced with another male idol signed under Phoenix entertainment named Hao Jin. Whose reputation was a lot better.
Liu Qinyang was happy with his replacement since he had been very nice and respectful to everyone including the staff the few times they had met at activities and dirty company events.
After getting dressed and putting on makeup, Liu Qinyang and Hao Jin met with the director to discuss the concert of video.
After everything had been straightening out, they began with the photoshoot. Liu Qinyang and Hao Jin were very professional so everything went smoothly. After a short time, they were done and Liu Qinyang went in for a touch-up before the filming began.
Liu Qinyang was heading back into the studio when she came upon a conversation between two female staff members of FnB Sports.
"Say wasn't the male lead for the advert meant to be Xu Yanzhu. How come it changed to another internet hot celebrity. It's bad enough that we have to work with the retail princess again.
"I mean, I thought the Director wanted to appeal to a much broader audience. To do that wouldn't he need to work with a more grounded celebrity not just the commercialized ones like Liu Qinyang"
"The male lead was meant to be Xu Yanzhu but was changed suddenly by Phoenix entertainment. I heard that it was because Liu Qinyang accused him of sexual harassment."
"Sexual harassment really how very original of her. I don't believe it, I'm sure that it was all a lie concocted by Liu Qinyang to get more attention."

The next day an article detailing Xu Yanzhu disgusting activities was released. The identity of the victim was all kept secret.
In just a few days Xu Yanzhu's reputation and career were destroyed. He lost all his endorsements as many victims came out to tell their stories.
