Chapter 9 - BEACH STORY

At the beach, Aska can't go swimming, because Karin strictly forbids him. By reason of the beach there are many viruses that can be harmful to Aska's disease.

With great disappointment, Aska did what Karin said. To reduce Aska's disappointment, Karin invited Aska to rent an umbrella along with a table and beach bed. Karin wants to enjoy the sunset in the afternoon.

"How about Ka, do you like lying on this beach?" Karin asked, glancing at Aska who was lying on hid beach bed beside her.

Aska looks very handsome with his glasses perched on his sharp nose.

"How much longer till sunset Rin?" Aska didn't answer Karin's question, instead she asked back.

"Around three or half past four Ka, two hours to go. Are you tired Ka?" asked Karin back.

"So bored, if you lie down like this." complained Aska, his body tilted to the left staring at Karin, whose eyes were staring at the open sea.

"Then what do you want?" Karin got up and sat on her beach bed.

"I want to swim, it won't be long ,ut's just a moment." persuaded Aska with her pupy eyes.

Karin sighed heavily, in the lyrics of her watch. Then looked at Aska sharply.

"One hour, no more." said Karin.

"Two hours huh." Aska sulked.

Karin growled in annoyance.

"An hour and a half, or never." said Karin a little annoyed.

Aska gave a thumbs up, laughing happily. Quickly Aska took off his shirt and pants in front of Karin.

Karin just stared at what Aska was doing in front of her. Fortunately, Aska is wearing swimming trunks, only his chest is naked, you can see that Aska's six pack chest is beautifully carved.

Karin turned her face to avoid the temptation of death that was in front of her.

"Rin, come on accompany me swimming?" ask Aska to stretch out his hand.

Karin shook her head quickly.

"Nooooooo! Hurry and swim, before I change my mind!" snapped Karin.

Aska chuckled, the lioness was really cute when she was upset or angry.

Aska jogged closer to the beach.

Instantly Aska was swimming out to sea. The atmosphere seemed a little calm, as only a few people were visible.

Karin saw Aska who was swimming from where she lay. While waiting for the sunset, Karin reads her favorite romance novel.

Every now and then Karin looked at the direction of the sea looking for Aska's whereabouts. After seeing Aska's whereabouts, Karin continued reading it. Until something happened where Karin heard people's screams if someone fainted and nearly drowned who was now being brought to the shore. Karin suddenly woke up, and ran to the shore, her eyes looking for Aska to the middle of the sea where Aska was still visible. However, she could not find Aska's figure.

With anxious heart, Karin approached the swarming crowd of the person who was fainted and was about to drown.

Karin jostled trying to find an opening to see the person lying unconscious. Karin's face looked shocked when she saw the face of the person who had fainted, none other than Aska.

Karin screamed, shouted for Aska's name. Without looking at the people staring at her in surprise, Karin took Aska's head in her lap, and breathed a little relieved when she checked Aska's pulsating pulse.

"Please help me, lift my husband there," Karin said pointing to where she was. Karin thought that if she recognized Aska as her husband no one would ask questions.

With the help of several people, Aska's body was lifted and laid on the back of Karin's beach cloth.

Karin thanked the people who had helped her many times.

Anxiously, Karin took the eucalyptus oil that she always carried with her wherever she went when she was with Aska, especially Aska's medicines.

She rubbed the nape and nape of Aska's neck, Aska's chest and stomach, especially the soles of Aska's feet and palms. In rubbing Aska's palms repeatedly. A little oil is also applied on the tip of Aska's nose.

"Aska, wake up Ka." Karin called repeatedly, patting Aska's cheek. But Aska did not budge, his eyes remained tightly closed.

There is one man who is about half a century old came to Karin with a glass of hot tea on a tray.

"Sis, this is hot tea, you can drink it later on your younger brother." said the man.

"Is your husband wake up yet?" the man asked again, putting the tray on the beach table.

"Not yet, sir." Karin replied a little panicked.

"I have given eucalyptus oil all over his body but still not waking up, sir." Karin explained

"Maybe the breathing is clogged with water, try to help with artificial breath, sis" said the man again.

Karin stared at the person in amazement, why is she as a nurse not thinking that way, maybe Aska did experience blockage in his breathing because too much water was swallowed and it required chest compressions and artificial breaths to trigger it to let the water out. And that means someone has to give artificial breath to Aska.

Karin's eyes were foggy, Karin stared at the man, eyes begging.

"Can you help give him artificial breath?" Karin asked a little doubtfully.

"Sorry, sis, I don't know how to do it, and again your his wife's ,sister." the man said innocently.

Karin shuddered in horror, her memory returned when she kissed Aska the first time who fainted, and the second time deliberately kissing him. and it was she who did it first, not Aska.

Karin felt embarrassed if she had to do it again. Karin unconsciously shook her head repeatedly.

"Sis, I suggest, do it quickly. If it is too late the blockage could endanger his life." said the man then walked away from where Karin.

Karin stared at Aska's face, white and pale.

"Why are you always giving me trouble?" Karin asked anxiously, whether she had to kiss Aska or let Aska be in danger.

Karin squeezed her hand. Her heart started beating fast, for the third time she kissed Aska.

"Aaaarrrgggghhhhhh! Why can't I stay away from your lips anyway?" rutuk Karin saw Aska's lips turn pale.

With silent prayers, Karin pressed Aska's chest with 30 beats, Aska's chest jerked upwards, then Karin covered Aska's nose with her thumb and forefinger, with her eyes closed and a pounding heart Karin blew Aska's lips for a few seconds until Aska's chest lifted, she did it twice two minutes apart.

Aska responds to Karin's helping breath by spewing out the water she swallowed from her mouth.

Karin tilted Aska's body, so that the water he vomited would not be swallowed up again. Aska's body was limp, his eyes opened slightly to see Karin who had helped him. Karin's face was faint.

Aska closed his eyes for a moment and opened them again to see Karin's face. Karin put Aska's head on her lap.

"Are you awake?" asked Karin with a rage that was about to explode. And Aska knew that from Karin's tone and from her face, which was blushing with anger.

"Don't scold me Rin, I'm sick .. I almost drowned earlier." Aska said sinking his face in Karin's lap while hugging Karin's waist tightly.

Karin sighed loudly, not knowing what else to do with Aska's attitude if it was always like this.

Karin lifted Aska's head, and grabbed Aska's arm to help him up and move to the beach bed.

"Lie down, this time I forgive you because you have survived death." Karin said and took a towel covering Aska's naked body with wet swim trunks.

"When you get better you can change your clothes and we'll go home." Karin continued in a flat voice.

"But we haven't seen the sunset yet, haven't we?" Aska asked, staring at Karin's face, which still looked annoyed.

"You want your illness to get worse! I'm sorry to obey your wishes, if this happens!" Karin replied in despair with Aska's attitude who always underestimated his own health.

Aska wakes up from sleep wearing a towel covering his lower body, Aska shuffles to sit beside Karin whose eyes focus on the open sea, which is about to set the sun.

With a little nervousness and trembling with fear at Karin's refusal, Aska grabbed Karin's hand and squeezed it lightly, his head resting on Karin's shoulder. Aska's heart was relieved to see Karin not rejecting him.

"I want to have happy memories with you like today, with you watching the sunset this afternoon." murmured Aska softly, who was also looking at the open sea to see the sunset that was about to set.

Karin glanced at Aska, she saw that Aska's face looked so sad. Karin's heart hurt at Aska's words, which looked desperate.

It really hurt Karin if Aska always discussed things like this, as if Aska would definitely go far.

Karin moved to release Aska's grip, then shifted to take the bag she was carrying, took her jacket and dry beach cloth. Then without speaking the jacket is put on Aska and the beach cloth is wrapped around the lower part of Aska's waist. Without speaking, Aska also put on the jacket Karin was wearing.

Aska's heart melted back with Karin's sudden sweetness.

"After seeing the sunset, you have to change your clothes and we'll go straight home." Karin said without looking at Aska, sitting back next to Aska.

Slowly Karin put her head on Aska's shoulder, and grabbed Aska's head against her head. Aska was stunned, he looked at Karin's face with his uncertain heart. His heart began to flower, Aska increasingly sank his head on top of Karin's head and smelled the fragrance of her hair.

With a beating heart Aska dared to grab Karin's hand again and held it tightly. And Karin did not reject it at all, even Karin replied to Aska's grumbling tightly too, even though Karin's eyes did not move, she remained focused on staring at the setting sunset. Aska's eyes closed for a moment feeling the warmth of Karin's fingers. Then the two of them were silent without a word, only their hearts spoke. Leaning back against each other with tight hands to see the beautiful sunset.
