I sigh as I look at the mirror, refixing my mask on my face. I fix my hair somewhat before exiting, wearing a tank top and pajama pants, black and purple as usual. I look at my scarred arms, the marks covering them like a modern painting.
'I would usually be in my semi-human form but since I am in this are, I'm stuck in this form for the time being…until I get on the battlefield.' I open the door and walk out, catching both of the girls' attention. They both look guilty as they stand in front of the table, the exosuit in their hands. I quickly walk over as I yell, "Don't touch that!"
The girls look at each other before gently setting it down, knowing I am serious from my tone alone. I quickly inspect it and see that nothing is broken, which I expected but I mainly look at the paint before sighing in relief.
'There are no deformities in the paint which means it was dried before they touched it. I would of been pretty pissed since this paint is pretty valuable, the color I mean.' I look over at the two girls, Emily seems to have changed while I was in the bathroom, wearing a long sleeve shirt and a set of tight fitting pants, but not looking uncomfortable in the slightest.
Soca is wearing the grey and purple clothes I made, purple flowers covering its surface. She bows slightly towards me, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to cause trouble. It just looked so unique in design and I had never seen anything like it. My curiosity got the better of me."
I glance at the guard who nods, "My curiosity also got the better of me. I am sorry."
I sigh as I wave it off, "It's fine, curiosity with new stuff is only natural."
Soca looks at it closely, her cute face inspecting it while glancing at me, "So what is it? Are you going to use it to fight in that battle?"
I shake my head, "This is for a…customer. Besides, this would serve as more of a restriction than anything."
She tilts her head, seemingly confused my my confidence, "I thought you would be using this time to prepare." She saw me challenge an entire kingdom to war, and not having seen someone of my strength, she would naturally not know what I can do going all out.
I shake my head, "Nope, I don't have to. The biggest problem would be S ranks, but from you guys not losing instantly, I can tell they don't have anyone above A rank."
Suddenly, she bows to me again, but this time, out of nowhere. I am confused as I look at her when she says with a slightly quivering voice, "I never did truly thank you. Thank you for breaking me out of that wedding. That man is truly a pig in disguise, he just puts on a good show. So…thank you."
I say nothing as turn around and walk towards the couch, "Don't worry about it, I had the power to make it right, and so I did. But now your going to have to deal with your mother when I leave, can you handle that?"
She falls silent for a few moments before bursting into tears, falling to the floor, "No! I am weak…I can't…"
Emily rushes over to the Princess, sitting by her side and gently rubbing her back, "It's okay, but don't sit on the floor, it's undignified for someone of your statur-"
"Leave her." I butt in as I sit down on the couch. I sigh in defeat, "Laying there isn't going to do you any better, it's best to start growing in strength now than later. What do you wanna be? A swordsman? Or a mage? I can help you better with a weapon than magic."
She slowly looks up at me, her face covered in tears, "You would be willing to help me even more than you already have?" She wipes her face as a sad smile appears on her face, "Are you sure you aren't a saint?"
I laugh as my Demonic voice echoes from my mask, "Trust me, when you see me on the battlefield, your going to think the exact opposite."
She sniffles as Emily silently rubs her back, "Alright, can you teach me how to use a blade?"
Emily nods, "I could princess, but are you sure? It's very unusual."
She nods as a weak fire begins to grow in her eyes, "I am certain."
I suddenly realize what I have gotten into, 'Let's hope she is a super genius, it took Winter a week with a weapon I was good at. Maybe I can find another solution for when I leave…"
I begin to brainstorm when I see the colored tattoo on my hand, my eyes going big as an idea forms in my head. 'That's it!'

Somewhere else in the kingdom....
—————————————————————
"Dammit!" Yells the queen as she slams her fist on the throne again. Moments later, the prince enters the throne room through the massive doors, a confused and furious look on his face, "What is the meaning of this! I demand an explanation! The wedding is canceled and then I get a call from my father about the war continuing and you demanding one final battle in 2 days!"
She stares at him angrily as a sigh of defeat escapes her throat, "My hands are tied and I am no longer giving orders…a higher power has entered the scene. If you have any friends you wish not to die, I suggest you pull them out now. It's going to be a blood bath."
His face becomes contorted as he stares at her, "What do you mean a higher power?! You are the queen-" he stops, his eyes finally absorbing the scene around him. After several moments, his eyes fall on the Alpha pillar, which is seemingly barely alive.
Fear covers his face as he mutters, "What did this?"
