Lana looks over at Soca as she gets up, "Why is he making food for us?"
Soca opens her mouth to say something but I interrupt her, "Because I feel like it, is there anything wrong with that? And I'm eating it too, so don't assume it's only for your group."
A shiver crawls up her spine as she hears me utter each word, my demonic tone dragging itself across her. 'His voice is horrifying.'
Lana walks over to a rock and sits down beside the fire, although a little ways away as the heat is quite unbearable. She looks at me with wonder and awe as she tries to understand how I am not burning from the roaring flames. I finish cooking after I reach what I feel is a good amount of meat and toss the rest into the forest. No need to keep it since I can't preserve it or freeze it.
However, I decidedly kept the pelt. I rolled it up sleeping bag style and put it into a plastic bag I made. Then I put it into my orange gemmed ring which I reserved for special items only. I can create any material, however mana infused items such as magic animal pelts is something I can't create.
I grab the large plate of food in one hand and place it on a rock near them. I wave my hand as 4 plates pop into existence, matching silverware appearing on top.
I calmly grab a plate, fork, and knife as I grab some breakfast before walking over to a rock and sitting down. I grab my mask and move it up on my face slightly, revealing the bottom of my mouth. I begin to eat on the juicy and tender steak as the girls look at me, as if trying to see past my mask.
This is the first time they have seen any part of Kurayami's face and are currently trying to figure out what he looks like, after all, the face is how most people are recognized. But no matter how hard they look, they can't make out any other facial features. Lana is the quickest to give up as she briskly walks over and grabs some bear steak.
Soca and Emily follow swiftly, grabbing some breakfast and sitting down around the fire. I visibly see their faces light up as they take a bite, although they oddly use the forks, as if foreign to them. I quickly eat my delicious food before putting my mask back on fully...but I feel a sadness slowly embed itself in my mind. 'I miss mom's cooking....'
After about half an hour, Amelia bursts from the forest, 4 small horned rabbits in her hands. She would of gotten 5 but since this guy wants bear, he can have bear. But when she enters the campsite, the faint smell she was smelling in the forest hits her full force, like a wave on a shore. She looks at the 4 of us wide eyed as we eat the bear that supposedly couldn't be cooked on this fire.
She stutters as she barely gets out the word, "How?"
I smile as I clear my throat, "Skill."
I suddenly hear a Ping! And 3 messages pop up.

I inwardly laugh at the absurdity of the situation, 'I guess breakfast is the most important meal of the day!'
After Soca calms Amelia down again, she joins us for breakfast as she stares daggers at me, as if she is after my soul. I smile as I push it off and focus on The biggest issue. 'I have 2 days to finish the war, find paint, inspect that sword, and return back to my world. Looks like I am pressed for time.' I stand up and brush my legs off, tossing the plate into the fire.
The plate immediately catches on fire, the black color turning darker as the flames engulf it. 'I designed the plates to have the same material as wood so they would be more eco friendly to burn than paper plates.'
Soca and Emily look at the plate curiously as it begins to burn, mimicking my movement after they finished. Amelia is still staring needles at me as she slowly tosses it into the scorching heat. Lana grabs a second plate before throwing it into the fire, finally satisfied with her 2 plates of steak. I calmly sit beside the fire when I hear Soca ask, "I had heard explosions in the distance when you were hunting which is what woke me up, what were they?"
I look over at Soca, an excuse already coming to mind. "I had heard them as well but it was just 2 Alpha pillars fighting over territory. Nothing to be worried about."
Soca and Lana look at eachother worried as the 2 guards jaws' drop. They know exactly how horrifying pillar alphas can be since pillars are the biggest nuisance of their kingdom. They would dig into house floors and create nests around them, it would take many soldiers to clear out a nest and an army to take out an Alpha.
The guards look like they don't know how to react as the words casually leave my mouth. "It might be difficult for you guys but I could kill one in a single breath." I stand up as I stretch my arms, "Let's get going, this supposed kingdom of yours should be open now, yes?"
The guards nod, still processing what I said moments before. Soca and Lana stand up, ready to go, when Soca suddenly screams. I quickly turn around as I see her looking at her dress, noticing cuts, tears, and dirt all through the once beautiful masterpiece.
"My father is going to kill me! This dress cost him 100s!"
I sigh as I walk towards her, 'I hate having these skills sometimes.'
