I begin to rack my brain as I try and remember how to make paint. But even after searching through my memories, I can't remember how to make a regular coating. This troubles me as I need to create a paint that lasts and can resist a lot of elements, from water, to fire.
I suddenly remember, 'Wait, I have the largest database of human knowledge on my wrist!'
I swiftly access the wristband as a hologram pops up. I look up 'paint' in the search bar and hundreds of results show up, causing me to frown. 'I could read through them all in a few hours, but I don't want to waste time.'
I begin filtering videos and tutorials till I have 3 videos, each one different but just as important as the other 2. I begin to rub my chin as I contemplate my choices, 'The first option creates a coating that has a high resistance to weather conditions, but is weak to fire. The materials would be a slight pain to gather but it can be done.'
I scroll down as I look at the next option, 'This one is highly resistant to physical damage but weak elementally. This is ideal in fighting with weapons but not magic. The materials are less of a pain to gather.'
I then look down at the third option, 'This is strong against the general but has no strengths. The materials are harder to get but that doesn't matter.'
I contemplate a bit more before eventually walking into the living room and asking Dreag, "What would you prefer, strong elemental defense and weak physical, strong physical and weak elemental, or a general defense?"
He thinks for a moment before simply saying, "Strong elemental defense. For where I am going, I am going to need gear to resist all types of elements."
I nod as I swipe away the other 2 recipes and glance at the name of the final one. 'Elesia paint. Time to go gathering resources.'
I wave my hand as I walk out of the door, being sure to activate the turrets in the warehouse before leaving. As I step out, I see that some of the roads are being built finally. A black material has started being created, covering some of the dirt roads between the tents and houses.
I smile and nod as I wave my hand, an orb appearing in my hand. I walk through the area as a plethora of smells begin to waver through my nose, quickly reminding me that there aren't showers readily available.
But I wave at the kids and adults as I walk past, leaving the neighborhood of tents and houses to an open part of the dirt paths. I grip the ball tightly before slamming it into my chest, causing the metal particles to explode in a storm. People at the tent city look at the storm of black particles in awe, watching white sparks of electricity bounce around within the black tornado.
The particles freeze and hover for a moment before gathering onto me. The black sand like particles begin to harden and form, the white sparks of electricity hardening into the metallic skin. Several arms form as they slam into the ground full force, causing the ground to tremble.
I look up as I see the partially destroyed mountains in my view, 'Time to go mineral farming.'
The large cat like mechanical suit lunges as I bolt towards the large mountain, passing shadow soldiers as they gather materials for metal framing and other structures.
I sit in the cockpit as I jump to and fro, leaping from boulder to boulder. I talk with Sky, who is currently sticking out of my shoulder, and answer her questions about what we're doing.
After several hours of digging, scratching, and making some modifications to the nightmare mech so it can fit these tasks, I finally have enough materials for the paint I need. The problem is....
'I need to find an ocean.' I sigh in defeat as I begin to think.
The materials to create the paint are all gathered and temporarily stored in my mana core ring, the problem is that most of the pigments are found in corals. So to find them, I need to find an ocean.
I think for a few moments as me and Sky rationalize this out. If there is life, life had to be created from somewhere. After years of scientific studies, it was observed that most, if not all, life came from oceans. Hence, an ocean has to be near.
I store the nightmare mech into its orb like form and spread my wings, quickly telling Sky to reenter my skin. She nods as I spread my wingspan to its full size of 12ft. I push power into my wings as wind whistles around me, the crisp cold air hitting me fiercely.
I float in mid air as I look around me, trying to see any sign of an ocean. I shrug as I begin to fly in a direction, calling Dreag on my Runestone to tell him what's happening.
Within seconds, he picks up, "Hello?"
I try to summon my voice among the fierce air, "Hey!"
He asks in a concerned voice, "What's that background noise? Are you falling?"
"No! I'm flying in search of an ocean! I might be searching for a while so I was letting you know!"
There is silence for a moment before he speaks again, his deep voice resonating from the stone, "Alright. Be careful."
"I will! This is me your talking about!" I say charismatically as I hang up, storing the stone with a wave of my hand. I glide silently in the blue sky, the only sounds that can be heard are the sound of my clothes rustling and the wind rushing pst my ears. I gaze down at the beautiful ground as I see all types of landscapes. Mountains, rivers, hills, plains, and forests.
'This is peaceful.' I inwardly remark as I gaze down at the never ending green.
