"There's no training today." I say as I look at Winter who is ready for training as usual. She tilts her head slightly as her ears tilt slightly, "Why is there no training today? I need to learn how to fight in my new form."
I shake my head and wave my hand, "You need to rest because the tournament is tomorrow, you should of been in the moonlight long enough that you should be able to transform into your werewolf form with ease."
She pouts for a moment before perking up, "Since this is my day to rest, I would like to spend it with you."
I stand there for a moment, thinking, before nodding, "Alright. Give me a minute so I can grab something." I say as I turn around and she walks in, standing by the door with a smile.
I enter my room and there rests a present wrapped in a black wrapping paper with white stars on it, some wisps flowing off of it's suitcase sized exterior.
I wave my hand and store it in my watch and look inside just to see it barely able to hold the gift. 'This is getting full.' I think as I walk out of my room, but before I leave, I look over and see a set of armor on the wall, varying in shades of black, purple, and white. It looks like a bodysuit with armor plating on the thighs and forearms and other parts of the body, but what stands out is it's design. 'Since I have regained my memories, I can design things with ease and this is by far one of my greatest designs, took me a few hours to design it and then build it, but it's almost finished, just need to infuse it with a soul as it's power-source.' I think as I turn around and continue to walk out of my room.
'Last night was fruitful with my ability. After I got back to my living space, I found out my shadows can also mimic other materials such as paper and titanium, but it doesn't change appearance on what substance I choose. It will only change its strength material wise. It also turns out shadow is a unique material that's lighter and stronger than most metals, the same with soul energy. But the difference between the two is that soul energy can be used as a power source in general while I am the only one able to use shadow as a power source.'
I walk towards her and look at her amber eyes with a smile, 'It's insane what mana can do.' As we walk out, I realize something and ask, "Wait, shouldn't you be having classes?"
She looks over at me and begins explaining as we walk over towards her place, "Since your incident when you entered, they paused classes, and then the tournament happened, which has closed classes for the next two weeks."
I nod as I hear her explanation. "Students are bound to need time to heal after the competition...." and then it hits me, "Wait, what if the cube gets a tyrant?" She stops walking for a moment and smiles nervously, "Lets just hope that doesn't happen."
We reach her living quarters and I enter just to see no one in the house. "Where are your parents?" I ask confused. "They still have to work." She says as she begins to walk towards her room. I sit down on the couch as she enters her room to get changed from her training clothes. I simply sit there on the couch and wait.
After a few minutes, I see Winter walk out in some black sweatpants and a white t-shirt, although it only helps highlight her voluptuous curves. She sits down beside me and smiles as she grabs a remote from the arm of the couch and hits a few buttons before the screen suddenly flickers and turns on as she scrolls through a list of things till she looks at me, "What do you wanna watch?"
I think for a moment before saying one word, "Is there anime?" She looks at me with shock, "Are you making fun of me?" And immediately shake my head, "I am not, I truly want to see if there is anime." The look of shock disappears as she closes the list and opens a new one, a one titled 'The worlds of today and tomorrow'.
'Wait a minute, isn't this what she was talking about when I described magic?' And I watch as she click on the first episode and presses a few options before clicking play. She cuddles up beside as an intro of a squad appears along with the title.
I smell her sweet aroma as she curls up beside me before I suddenly feel two squishy airbags on my arm. 'I could get used to this.' Before I realize it, it gets to be around noon, and I hear Winter's stomach rumble.
She blushes slightly as she lets go of me and gets up. As she is walking over to the kitchen, she looks over and asks, "So what do you want to eat? We can have practically anything although I usually eat ramen noodles and not the kind that you make in the microwave, even if they are delicious."
I nod, "I am fine with ramen noodles." She smiles as I say that, "Okay! I'll also make some small sandwiches as we wait-" "No!" I yell instinctively as I point at her. Her eyes go wide as I yell, "Why not?"
I think for a moment before saying, "Let's just say I have had bad experiences with them." She closes her eyes and nods, "Alright, I'll get a bowl of chips then." She says as she grabs a bowl and a bag of chips, emptying some of them into the bowl. I then watch as she walks over to the fridge and clicks a few buttons before opening it and removing frozen beef, ramen noddles, and other items.
I get up and walk over, "Your going to make it from scratch?" She looks over and nods, "It's not that hard, we are all taught how to cook Incase the cube opened up one day."
'She will be a great wife when she gets older.' I think as I watch her begin her cooking.
