I walk downstairs and into the kitchen to see the same tasty breakfast I usually have, eggs, bacon, and orange juice. I sit down and start eating, shoving my face full of the delicious food. I look around and notice something, there's vines on the walls. The vines have all different flowers but they are all two colors, red and green.
'That's new....' I'm slightly puzzled until I see the shirt my mother's wearing. It is dark green with a tree on the front covered in ornaments and vines of all colors. 'Wait a minute....' and the shock hits me. "Do you guys celebrate Christmas?" I ask, with a slightly shocked look on my face. My mother looks at me and giggles at my dumbfounded face, "Yes, we celebrate Christmas, now please quickly finish your breakfast and go help your siblings put up the decorations, our entire family is coming!" 'Oh, that's nice...wait, did she say ENTIRE FAMILY?!'
"How many people are part of our family?" I ask nervously. She takes a minute and counts in her head, "I believe it's forty three..." "Forty three?!" I stand there dumbfounded. "Can forty three people even fit in this house?" I say, looking around. She laughs, "No, no, no, we will all be using the backyard, after all, it's three times as large as the house." I sigh in relief, knowing I won't be stuck cramped in here with 43 other people. "Now go help your siblings get the decorations up." She says, as she continues cooking a holy grails worth of food sometimes even using fire magic.
I engulf my food, throw on my coat, and bolt to out front. There I almost push Elanor off the steps as she is putting up vines around the door. I grab her as she is starting to fall backwards, "Sorry, I came out to help." And I pull her upwards and pat her head. I walk out farther and turn to my left to see Elva on a ladder, putting up some vines on the edge of the roof while Aeron, and Estel are holding it. "Do you guys need help?" I ask looking up at them.
It's been a week since I shown them my dragon form, it took them a few days but they seemed to get used to it, but now when me and Elva are alone, she doesn't smile at me anymore.
"Yeah, could you help set up the decorations on the rest of the house, we got this side." Responds Aeron, while he stands under the ladder feeding up the vine to Elva. Elva glances at me, eyes filled with hate, but still has the fake smile on her face. I chuckle inside, 'I'll slowly reveal your true self to everyone you know. And then you won't have anything left to hide with that smile.' I think but I actually say, "Sure! Hand me the longest vine you got!" And Aeron hands me the end of the vine that is being fed to Elva. "We wrap this one around the entire house but it usually takes an hour for the whole thing."

'My first quest! I ain't gonna fail this so I am gonna complete this as fast as I can!'
I focus on transforming into my semi-human form and they start to grow. 'Let's see if this coat and pants work like they are designed.' And as my wings and tail sprout, they stick out of holes that were seamless minutes before.
A few days before, we went to see the tailor and made the excuse that my tail and wings would sprout out of nowhere at times because of a spell. The tailor said he just received a shipment of material that senses changes in the body and morphs equally, the only requirement was that it needs mana to be transferred in it to activate the process. We had a coat, a suit, and a few pairs of pants, shorts and underwear made of the material but the price wasn't cheap.
When we got home, we hadn't tested it so this was the first test and it was a surprising success! 'Woah, comfortable and effective.' I grab the vine and get into a launch position. I spread my wings to their full 24 feet span, and push down.
I launch into the air like a rock from a slingshot. And I go four stories high in an instant. The snow falls lazily around me as I look around. I see plains upon plains of snow till it reaches out of my line of sight. The sun is high in the sky, kissing me with its warmth while the wind embraces me with its cold, harsh blows. I glide down to the house and hook the vine to hooks that can't be seen by the naked eye unless up close, I loop the vine in each one until I have gotten the entire house and am eye to eye with Elva, her smile warm, but eyes cold with hate.

'I can't accept it while they are looking, I'll check later, close.' And the prompt disappears. I look at her, "How long were you guys out here?" She looks me dead in the eyes. "Five minutes." I laugh and yell, "Heck yeah! New best time!" Her smile wavers at that. 'It used to take longer than an hour before I started helping!' I smile at her and float down to the ground. "Having wings seems really handy." Says Aeron calmly, thinking of certain magical theory's of how to gain wings.
"Yeah, but I can fold mine, making it easier to put on clothes than species while can't." Aeron's train of thought breaks at the thought of that, "That's right! Lacking wings also has its advantages. So I should mainly focus on spells that fly rather than give me wings! Good thinking little brother!" I shake my head helplessly, knowing he is not gonna stop.
