Water vapor that came in contact with it transformed into sand which was a total transformation. Plants and other life that came in contact with the wind would first dry out, then turn thin.
Eventually they would turn into desiccated flakes and finally crumble into dust.
Lin Mu saw all this happen, as his robes turned into dust with just a faint touch of the wind. And when his skin touched the wind, it cracked!
