Chapter 56 - Saving Father Part One

Feng Xi walked into her father's hospital room. Prince Jin at her side holding her trembling hand. When she saw her father hooked up to so many medical machines. Tears once again rolled down her cheeks. Prince Jin let go of her hand so she could go forward. But he did not go far.

Feng Xi sat in a chair next to her father's bed. She reached out to touch the hand that laid lifeless on the side of the bed. She held his hand in hers as tears rolled down her cheeks. She looked at the neck brace that was wrapped around her father's neck. His black and blue face and all the stitches that were holding him together. Seeing her father in such a state broke her heart. "Father I will find whoever did this to you and kill them with my own hands. No matter who it is. In this life, I only have you and grandpa for family. But do not worry Father. Your Xi'er will use everything she has learned in this life and the past to make sure you survive this."

Feng Xi's voice was so soft and quiet that no one else was able to hear what she said except one person, Prince Jin. She turned her head and looked at Prince Jin. Her beautiful eyes glimmering with tears. One look would make any man's heart go soft. Prince Jin was no exception to this. "Jin'er if something happens to me in the future please make sure my father and grandfather are safe."

"Nothing will happen to you or your family from now on. Especially you. Otherwise, I will kill every living thing in China and send them to the river of reincarnation so you can get your revenge. Then I would join you on your journey to the next life." This was his promise. If she died so would he. But he would be sure to take every living thing in China with him to pay homage to the girl he loves.

These words made a faint smile form on Feng Xi's face. Even in times like this, the man in front of her was able to make her smile. She reached out and pulled Prince Jin's hand, bringing it to her lips and kissing the back of it. "You do not need to kill everyone, just those who had harmed me."

Letting go of Prince Jin's hand, Feng Xi's face turned serious as she turned and held her father's wrist, reading his pulse. Anger rose up in her, a murderous expression forming on her face. "Someone drag that fucking surgeon who worked on my father into this room right now!"

"Right away Boss!" the Qiu sisters said simultaneously, before rushing out of the room.

"What's wrong?" Prince Jin asked.

"Whoever planned this planned it all the way down to the surgeon who operated on my father. He's still bleeding on the inside! He will die in a few hours if he does not receive treatment right away! If I had not shown up my father would be dead!" Feng Xi stood up and looked around her anger rising even more. "Where the fuck is Mo Luixian!? "

"I'm here Boss! It took me longer than expected to find this set of needles. I had to steal them from a doctor who was working on a patient. On the first floor" Mo Luixian came racing into the room he was covered in sweat and breathing heavily. It seemed he had run all the way up the stairs from the first floor! They were on the thirtieth floor!

"Go get me a bowl of warm water and as many towels as you can find. I need anesthetic and sterile swabs as well. I also need a scalpel and clamps! Jin'er, grab a pair of gloves I will need you to assist me." Feng Xi right now had to put all her medical knowledge she had learned in her past life to work. Her father's life depended on it!

She quickly turned on the overhead light and pulled down the blanket covering her father. She then took a pair of scissors and carefully cut open her father's hospital gown revealing a horrifying sight. The entire incision started to pull apart, blood was slowly flowing out. Once she finished saving her father she would make sure to cut that damn surgeon into a million pieces!

The whole room became completely quiet. Everything Feng Xi asked for was quickly brought in only then did she kick everyone but Prince Jin and Dai Fen out. Dai Fen watched nervously as Feng Xi went to work. He dared not ask how she knew what she was doing. He was afraid any distraction right now would not be good. but he knew one thing. She would never risk her father's life. Feng Xi washed her hands thoroughly before putting on a new pair of gloves. She then cleaned the area of the original incision. Slowly and carefully she cut each stitch.

"Jin'er when blood flows out, use a damp rag and wipe it up. Afterward, sterilize the skin around the wound again. We are not in a sterilized environment. I don't want to risk my father getting some kind of infection." Feng Xi explained. The room they were in might be for intensive care patients but it was not as sterile as a surgical room.

Prince Jin did not say a word he only nodded his head to say that he understood. He did not want to interrupt Feng Xi's concentration and train of thought. He watched closely as Feng Xi's brows furrowed as she took out a long needle and accurately stabbed it into Feng Shun's acupuncture point. He was not sure which point it was but he noticed that the flow of blood had lessened a bit. She did this a few more times causing the blood flow to become a trickle.

She then finished reopening the incision and looked inside. What she saw horrified her even more. Inside the wound was a small clear pouch. That seemed to have fluid in it. The membrane the pouch was made of was very thin so if the body attacked it, it would easily break open!

Very carefully Feng Xi pulled this delicate pouch out of her father's incision and placed it on a tray. She turned to Dai Fen and coldly said: "Bring that fucker in here now!"
