[Adrian's POV]
The drive almost detached Adrian's soul from his body, but somehow, he survived. He held onto the bridge's concrete guardrail, bent over as his lunch threatened to crawl back up his mouth. That was some crazy driving. He almost thought he was about to die.
"Let's get going," Russell said, squeezing Adrian's butt as he went down the narrow road beside the bridge. Pervert.
Adrian glared, but it's not like he can do something about it, so he followed Russell. A glance at the deep river made him wonder where the path would lead them. There were no houses in sight. All he could see were lush trees growing on the riverbank. If it weren't for the thought that Johan was trouble somewhere, he could appreciate the beauty of the nature surrounding them.
"Where exactly are we going?" Adrian asked, as the area turned more secluded. "No one seems to be living around here."
