[Adrian's POV]
"That looks nasty," Raymond said, breaking the silence as he motioned to the visible welts on Adrian's arms.
Adrian chewed slowly. "Yeah. Your face looks nasty, too."
"And whose fault was that?"
"I'm not the one who punched you." Adrian grabbed a glass of water and mumbled under his breath. "But I may not be able to control myself if you don't get out of my face, you scum."
Raymond scoffed. "Don't act like a saint, Adrian. We're just the same."
"I did not hurt Han the same way you did," Adrian gritted out.
"But you're the one who put him in shame!"
Adrian stood up with clenched fists; the wooden chair screeching against the floor at his abrupt movement. He glared at the younger male, but Raymond didn't back down from the intensity of his stare. "Rhia and I had broken up before that night. Whatever I do with my life, or whoever I spend my night with, that's no longer her business!"
