[Johan's POV]
The month of June came in like the sudden drizzle while the sky was clear. He knew it was coming, but it still took him by surprise.
Johan stood side by side with Adrian under the coconut tree, taking shade from the light rain sprinkling over the beach sand. The patter of droplets against the coconut leaves blended with the gentle sound of waves crashing onto the shore, leaving a trail of froth as it ebbed back to the sea.
It was a stormy night in June when he left Raymond's house. It's been three years. Well, almost. He still had a few more days before he could claim it three years. But what's the difference? It still felt yesterday. The time and distance he put between them still hasn't severed the yearning of his heart.
