"That was fun," Adrian said as he heaved two recyclable bags onto the glass table. After Johan bought everything on his shopping list, they bought a recyclable bags to prevent any accidental tear while Adrian drove them to his apartment. "You're so good at bargaining, my Mom would want you to be her chaperone instead of me."
And speak of his Mom, he's got to let Johan know she wanted to meet him. As his friend, of course.
Johan grabbed two glasses of room-temp water, handing him one to quench his thirst. "You're the only one I know who's ever said it's fun to shop at the Old Market."
Taking huge gulps, Adrian put an arm around Johan's waist. He placed the glass down on the table surface and squeezed. "You didn't enjoy it?"
