"Sarai and I will be heading on a trip for a month" Theo said, while packing his luggage. I couldn't argue with him against it. I left and headed to my bedroom. The only reason I was even allowed to be here was because I had gotten pregnant with his baby. My little one, so innocent and adorable, I had him a week ago. Theo hadn't even come to see him, my little prince Darien. I walked over and gazed at him in his bassinet. His thick locks covering his head, he looked very much like his father. I heard a quiet knock on my door, "Yes?" I said aloud. "It's dinnertime!" was the response from Myra, one of the maids. She rolled in a cart with my dinner on it, I wasn't allowed to walk and roam alot while recovering from birthing. "When is Theo heading out?" I asked. She avoided my glance, I am sure she didn't wanna upset me knowing how much I loved Theo. I grabbed and tugged lightly at her hand causing her to glance my way. "He will be leaving in an hour." She gave me a worried gaze. "I am fine My" I said as I gave her my best smile I could muster. Myra had become my best friend ever since Theo brought me to live here. She was sweet and attentive and cared for me very much as a older sister would do. I am sure she saw right through me decided to not dig further. She just patted my hand and held it momentarily before letting it go. "Eat before your food gets cold, you need your strength. You know its not good for you if you don't eat." She walked over to Darien and looked at him. Meanwhile I stared down at the meal that was on the cart. Stir-fried brown rice with spinach and carrots, Steamed asparagus, and seasoned chicken drumsticks. I was only able to take a few bites. My stomach kept feeling like it had knots in it. I didn't think missing a meal or two would make a difference anyway, I had gained quite a bit of poundage during the pregnancy. Time passed pretty quick as Myra was facinated with Darion, he had woken up while i was eating and she was just gushing over him. I heard the roar of Car, for sure it was Theo's favorite, the Porsche 918 spyder. Not much of a family car for sure. Very much a fun ride though. I went to the window, opened the silk curtains and gazed out. There he was waiting for Fardin, the butler, to put away the luggage in the car. He had Sarai clinging to his arm. She looked back and glanced towards my room, when she noticed I was looking, she gave me a smirk as she started to caress and play with Theo's hair. She turned away when Theo begin to walk and lead her towards the car. Ever the gentleman he helped her into the passenger seat and then went to the driver's side. As he walked by Fardin while going to the driver's side, Fardin handed him the keys. He didn't even glance back at me. My hand went up to the window on its own, I didn't want him to go. We still hadn't resolved anything between us. I saw him drive off, not looking back, smiling at whatever Sarai was saying to him. My heart ached....
I composed myself before turning around to face Myra. "I think Darien is hungry." She said as she handed him to me. My little prince, you are the only reason I am still here aren't you...
