"You need to feed " Dan insisted but she shook her head stubbornly. Judging from the amount of blood she lost as a result of the fall, he wasn't surprised when the hunger kicked in.

Dan groaned, palming his face. The girl was a monster. He had teleported her out of town during the mandurugo attack, far away from human habitation as a preminary measure, to make sure the mandurugo wouldn't track them down.
