"The real battle… Starts now!"...
"I'm battling both of them now, let's see if I can have some fun for once." Sonic said to himself, "Oh yeah, Better ask now before I forget, But i've always wondered why you two dont appear on the Guard Ranking Billboard?" Sonic asked them with a peculiar face.
"Well what do you know, that's the best thing you've asked- Actually, Said this whole time, But I will do you the honor of being the first and last one to know, The reason we don't appear is because we never signed up for us to be ranked, the reason being that Elemental Guard Agency Center, or E.G.A.C, will most likely give either one of us a higher or lower rank than the other. Which would cause a lot of debating and controversy with our followers and the community itself, and aside from that it could start a sense of superiority between us or insecurity, So I really don't want to be part of that bullsh*t." Kaneshiro elucidated.
"Wow, I didn't really expect that to be the answer, But it makes sense, I feel honored to know-" Sonic accepted until he was attacked by Kure.
Kure got tired of hearing him speak and signalled to the left with his index finger creating a small light panel that shot a quick but strong bright and vivid light beam at Sonic's face.
"He can shoot light beams?" Sonic muttered to himself.
Sonic took a battle stance and prepared for the storm coming at him, As soon as Kure saw Sonic's defensive stance he acted.
"Smart move, But I'm already ten steps ahead of you." Kure implied with a grin on his face.
Instead of attacking him the same way he did, He decided to attack Sonic's back where it was the least covered.
"Gotcha!" Kure chuckled, "Lightwave Element: Lightshow Spectacle!" Kure invoked.
Suddenly, Millions of beams were being shot at his blindspots from different angles, throwing him across the street like a ragdoll.
"Th-that bastard, He's only attacking my blindspots, and mostly my back, You may be a pro but everyone makes mistakes, and that's yours." Sonic thought to himself as he grunted.
As Sonic kept being shot, He suddenly turned midair and tried blocking one of the beams in an attempt to throw Kure off of his rhythm.
"Like I said, I'm already ten steps ahead of you…" Kure muttered to himself.
Instead of completely shooting the beam at where he was guarding, he released it and shot him in the face.
"No wonder they call this bastard the most strategically intelectual guard, But i'm sick of getting toyed with, Let's get this over with." Sonic said to himself.
"Wow, I'm surprised he's not dead yet, You going easy on him?" Kaneshiro wondered, "Yeah kind of, But I'm done playing." Kure confirmed.
Once Kure continued his attacks, Sonic swiftly reacted and fiercely countered and dodged all of Kures light beams.
"Huh, either you can use 'Color of Observation' or you were just hiding your true- Wait a second, Shiro, I never gave it much thought, But I think he's using 'Kakusu', which means we can't really sense his real power." Kure observed, "Damn it, He figured it out, it will be a problem for 'us' if I use all of my power, I will permanently use 'Mamoru' so I don't take that much damage so I don't confirm his hypothesis" Sonic said to himself. (Fun fact, You can go to google translate and put English to Japanese and find out what "Mamoru" and "Kakusu" means :) )
"It makes sense, But that's only your inference, we can't really prove that he's really using 'Kakusu' all we can really do is force him to stop using it- Which means… HE'S WORTH FIGHTING- or he's just that weak-... Hey, How about we go for Shooting Star?" Kaneshiro suggested, "One of our signature moves? Aren't we going to end up killing him-" Kure as he was interrupted by his stomach growling, "Actually yeah, let's do it, I'M HUNGRY!" Kure blurted at Kaneshiro, "Sure, Let's make a real light show! We're taking this to the skies!" Kaneshiro yelled as he hopped for joy.
Kaneshiro stretched his arms and legs as Sonic slowly focused his Energy around his body, Once they were done, Kaneshiro started to run at Sonic.
"Light Element: Light Speed!" Kaneshiro invoked with a yell.
As he ran towards Sonic his body lit up in a yellow aura and drastically increased in speed, as he got closer he started to bounce off of every wall feinted all his attacks until he disappeared and reappeared under Sonic kicking him on his temple flinging him up towards the air.
"Not high enough" Kaneshiro shouted, "Light Element: Double Light Cannon!" Kaneshiro invoked as he shot Sonic higher into the air, "That's good enough, Light Element: Light Lock!" Kaneshiro yelled as he restrained Sonic mid-air, "Now it's my turn, Light, Max size!" Kure uttered to his little fairy companion.
After Kaneshiro landed, he turned into a beam of light moving at the speed of sound so he doesn't go too far, as he moved farther and farther away from Kure and Sonic, Kure released thousands of panels up into the air.
"And to wrap it up, Light Element: Thick Layered Cube!" Kure invoked as he threw six very big and dense light panels which were used to finish trapping Sonic, They covered him from top to bottom and all four sides, all that was missing was for Kaneshiro.
"Ok this should be far enough" Kaneshiro smiled, "O-Oh my god, Spectric Light! C-Can I get an autograph-" A man bubbled as he approached Kaneshiro, "Everyone stay away, Im dealing with a villain right now and you don't want to get in the way of my Light Star." Kaneshiro warned.
Kaneshiro put his hands into a praying position and focused his energy into the center of his palms, As he slowly took his hands apart, it revealed a small orb of light, he fiercely clenched his hands together with a lot of force, he then quickly opened his hands up into the air creating an immensely large Light star, Once done pouring energy into it he threw it high into the sky leaving a faint light trail just like a shooting star would quickly following it from behind as a fast beam of light.
"Oh my god! It's Kaneshiro's and Kure's Shooting Star!" A woman exclaimed, "Yeah! Someone record it!" Answered a man, "That's a huge Light Star he made!" Said a young kid with a sparkling expression on his face,
Kaneshiro's and Kures signature move is one of the most widely known thing throughout the world, the finishing result is so beautiful people don't even think about the villain or person receiving it, In fact, They consider it a parting ceremony because most of the people that get hit by it end up dying and vanishing into orbs of light from how powerful it is.
As Kaneshiro bounced off of every panel they lit up in their respective colors lighting up the sky with all different kinds of colors.
"LET'S END THIS!" Kaneshiro yelled at kure through the communicator, "Yeah, let's end this, But before that- I almost never utter these words, But, This man deserves it, 'You Will Be eXecuted bRightly wIth No Outcome', May you rest in peace." Kure announced.
"ELEMENT COMBINATION: SHOOTING STAR SPECTACLE!" Kaneshiro and Kure recited in unison.
