"Now tell me, MingYu," ZhiYi said as he let go of MingYu's fingers and snuck his arm around his waist. "What took you so long to come and meet your husband?"
"Lots has happened, ZhiYi," MingYu sighed as he leaned towards ZhiYi as the two walked after the two figures.
The sun was shining brightly, illuminating the drops of dew clinging to the luscious grass beneath their feet. It was summer. The warm breeze fluttered past them, bringing with it a soft scent of blooming flowers.
MingYu told ZhiYi about master Ye giving him the potion, but left out the part where he couldn't recall any of the memories. About the wolf attacking XiaoHe, inadvertently hurting PingZe through the soul bond. How PingZe had gone to Hell to retrieve XiaoHe's soul and saved the youth. For now, he hadn't told ZhiYi of BiFei yet.
