Rose was about to leave when Arthur stopped her car. Surprised opened her door, "What's wrong?" she asked.
"Joining you so I can pick up the kids," he said.
Rose watched him get in the car and felt something was wrong.
"But I thought Sean said you had some documents to review with him "
Arthur frowned, "Sean can handle it alone and the kids need us more "
Rose sat back with a smile. Something was wrong with him. Upon reaching the school, Arthur told Rose to stay in the car.
She watched him pass through the crowd of parents to get his kids. She noticed that the most number of parents were male.
They kept looking at the car like they were expecting someone else apart from Arthur to come out of the car.
Arthur walked back carrying both the twins. Rose opened the door to receive them and the crowd of male parents rushed to the car.
Arthur frowned being pushed aside by the noisy crowd. Rosie turned to her father.
"Daddy, why are they running to mommy?"
Justin added, "But they are calling her Red "
"Your mom will tell you why after she's done," he said.
Rose was surprised to see them run to her but seeing Aurthur and her twins being ignored anger filled her.
"Excuse me but can you please let my husband and kids through " she shouted at the crowd.
A way was made and Arthur went through. Rose joined him in the car and bid farewell to her crazy fans.
"Sorry love I didn't know they would recognise me " she apologised.
"I had guessed it would happen that's why I told you to stay in the car," he said.
"How did you know?" she asked kissing little Rosie's face.
He had noticed how she had attracted a lot of attention in the morning. And anytime soon they would know who she is.
Rose had made a name for herself being Red. Richard had made sure to promote her modelling career so he could make money, which made her so popular abroad.
His name wasn't the only thing that made her famous but her other identity Red had gone further. She was now so well-known that it made him worried about her safety.
"Mommy, will you leave us because of your job?" Justin asked his mother.
Rose smiled "Never baby, I won't leave "
Little Arthur smiled when he saw his mother come out to pick him up. Even with a mask on he could recognise her.
Her presence and aura were different from other parents there. He ran to where she was holding her hand.
They drove to the same ice cream stall they had met her. Rose smiled when she saw the street.
Rosie and Arthur enjoyed their ice cream next to her. Arthur and his son Justin shared an ice cube instead.
"What would have happened if Little Arthur didn't see you "
"Then I would meet you somewhere else " she smiled.
He quietly moved his hand behind the kids and held hers. She smiled back.
He was happy and wanted it to last forever. Arthur had been fighting for their love since the day he laid eyes on her and after all the hurdles they had gone through he was still willing to fight for their love.
A black car was parked opposite them. Distracted by his wife's presence Arthur didn't notice it.
"Richard didn't tell me she was married. That cheating bastard played with me " the young handsome stranger shouted.
"Sir, I think you should give her up. She was never Red but Rose, a married woman with three kids and a very powerful husband " his assistant advised.
"Do I look like I care about all that? All these years I have been trying to win her heart and she never gave in. But since I know the reason why am going to do my best to get her. " he said.
The black car drove off after a while leaving the happy couple and their kids without noticing they were watched.
