Chapter 230 - Talk.

Little Arthur came in holding to Rosie and Justin, while his father and the maids helped carry in the stuff they had bought.

They had decided to buy their mother gifts since she had returned home.

"Mommy, mommy " called Rosie when she saw Red and Irene in the living room.

Red smiled and welcomed them back. The kids sat next to her while Arthur filled the room with the gifts.

His eyes were on Red who smiled at him, " "Welcome home "

He nodded, 'The kids wanted to buy you a gift but as you can see it went out of control" he said.

She giggled turning to the kids, "Thank you, my angels "

Rosie hugged, little Arthur kissed her cheek and Justin smiled at her.

Irene got up, " We'll since your children are back let them enjoy your company now. I have to go now and meet with my husband "

"Say hi for me to Sean " Red hugged Irene.

Irene smiled she had not expected her to say that. She pulled Arthur away as they left.

Red stayed back with the kids opening her gifts.

"It's her, I no it, " Irene told Arthur.

He nodded, " But with no memory of us it like he erased us all from her head "

"I think it's the meds she kept telling me about. Richard must have done something for her to be this way "

Arthur caught a glimpse of Red and the kids smiling.

"You don't seem too happy about it, why is that. I expected you to be crying with joy ". Irene looked at Arthur.

" I know it's her but then when I look at her it's not. I don't know what I should do ".he frowned.

Irene tapped his shoulder, " I suggest you sit down and talk to her. And maybe you will know what to do then "

She left soon after leaving him to think about it.

They had dinner, Arthur was silent while Red seemed too busy with the kids to notice his stares.

She had never been this happy in her life, feeling free and in control. These strangers that felt so close had opened a door someone in her heart that she didn't want to be closed again.

After everyone had gone to bed she came out of her room meeting Arthur on his way to the study.

"Working late?" she asked.

He nodded.

"Can we talk before you head in?" she asked.

He leads her to the terrace. It was a warm night with a starry night.

"I want to thank you for letting me stay here and am sorry if I remind you of her. Everyone I have met so far says am here but am not sure my self "

Arthur stared at her talk she had never lost her habit of biting her lower lip when nervous.

"My father always felt strange to me but I never bothered with it. But the dreams, you and your family and especially that I look exactly like Rose "

She moved closer to him, her eyes filled with desperation and confusion, " Can I really be her?" she cried.
