"I can see you awake " Nathan smiled down at her.
Rose tried to get up but her weak injured body disagreed. Nathan chuckled as he walked to the bed.
"He tortured me to the extent that I could not even cry anymore. Then he thinks we can all forget about it after he let us go!" Nathan expressed.
Nathan pushed back Rose's hair from her face holding her chin. He pulled her face close to his, "I fell for you the moment I saw you but after spending all that time in the dark cold place in pain. I knew I was wrong to fall for a woman who could love a monster like Arthur "
Rose pushed him away, " What happened to you?" she asked.
Nathan got up, " Nothing happened to me I just remembered what had I come to do in the first place. And after I reunited with Victoria I knew exactly how to achieve it "
"Arthur is going to hurt you again if you continue with this path " cried Rose.
Nathan burst into laughter, " He won't do anything as long as I have you and those babies"
"But what do you gain from all of this, Victoria is just using you to get Arthur back. She doesn't love you "
"Huh...that was what Victoria said you would say. After we left that place we promised to get revenge on you both then go somewhere far away together " he smiled again.
Rose sneered, " I thought you were a sensible man but it seems Victoria already has you in her palms like a dog on a lech "
"You can say all you want but just know this, you and Arthur are going to pay for everything we went through in that place, " Nathan said before he left the room.
Rose fell silent after Nathan left. She had been shocked to see him, she had stupidly believed him when he called to warn her about Victoria. Now she was trapped in an unknown place worried about her son and Arthur.
They must be worried about her too. She laid back down closing her eyes. If her father was involved in this too then his appearance was soon expected.
"Maybe when does appear, I can talk to him about letting me go," she thought. He was crazy and evil but he was still her father no matter what.
Sean called Ralph the next day to ask about the progress of their search.
"Nothing," he said in a disappointing tone.
Sean sighed, " Where in the country can they keep her and we fail to find her?"
"Can't we use a larger force than the one you gave us?" Ralph asked.
"Only Arthur can do that now and we can't tell him yet," Sean said.
"I think it's time we do tell him " Ralph let out.
His sister was missing and the only person who could help was Arthur, who they all decided to keep in the dark about it
"You know we can't do that now, I know we are all worried about Rose but ..." Sean stopped.
"WHAT do you mean worried about Rose?!.." an angry voice shouted.
Sean turned around only to see Arthur standing in his room.
"Don't tell me he heard you?..." Ralph shouted through the phone.
Sean moved the phone from his ear and looked at Arthur whose face could freeze anything if it laid eyes on him.
"Arthur you heard wrong nothing is wrong with Rose " Sean stammered.
Arthur moved closer to Sean, " In all years we have been together you have never stammered before, so you better tell me what your hiding or you will regret it "
Sean moved back from Arthur, he could feel his temperament get colder. He could hear Ralph's voice call him from his phone. Arthur looked down at his hand holding the phone.
Grabbing it he placed it on his ear.
"Tell me what happened to Rose right now," he said.
Ralph was silent for a moment debating on whether to lie to Arthur or tell him the truth.
"Are you going to lie to me too?" Arthur's tone scared Ralph.
