Rose had just returned from the hospital with Arthur when she saw Irene and Vivian in the living room.
They were whispering to each other about something.
"What are you two talking about in such low voices," she asked.
Irene almost fell out of the couch while Vivian looked like a lost child.
You finally back, that took long " Irene said getting up.
"How are the twins?" Vivian asked.
"They are growing fast and strong " Rose said as Arthur helped her sit.
He left the room, giving Irene a chance to jump on Rose.
"I need your help my dear best friend " she cried.
"What's wrong?" Rose pushed her off her body.
"She has been doing something terrible that I don't think you will like hearing, " Vivian told Rose.
"Shut up, you didn't help me when I told you my problem " Irene yelled at Vivian.
"Okay don't yell at my sister, tell me what's wrong " Rose pulled Irene's ear.
Vivian laughed as she moved nearer to them both.
"I have been doing something behind Sean's back that prevents me from getting pregnant, " She said.
"WHAT?!.." Rose shouted.
"I told you Rose wouldn't like it too " Vivian whispered.
"You have been keeping this from all of us so why tell us now " Rose asked.
"Because Sean wanted to drag me to the hospital for a checkup today morning " Irene cried.
"I think he noticed that something was wrong so he suggested it, " Vivian said.
"I don't think you need my help. Just go back home and tell him the truth," Rose said.
"He will kill her, " a voice said.
They all turned to see Arthur standing there with a plate of fruits. He looked at them with his calm green eyes and sighed.
He walked to Rose and gave her the plate.
"I don't think you have ever seen Sean angry before," Arthur said taking a seat next to Rose.
Vivian and Irene moved further away from them.
"I don't think Sean's capable of that " Rose said.
"It's because you haven't seen him angry before," said Arthur.
"Sean mostly hates liars that's why I told you to tell him the truth before he finds out himself, " Vivian told Irene.
"I didn't do it to hurt him but with the things going on with me and his mom and then our relationship. I just could not risk getting pregnant " Irene cried.
He's going to strangle you to death," Arthur said feeding Rose strawberries.
"Arthur don't be mean just help us come up with a solution," Rose said opening her mouth to receive the strawberries.
"My Sean isn't like that at all, " Irene said.
"If you know our past then you know what we used to do to people who lied to us in our business. And Sean personally handled them since he loathed such human beings " Arthur calmly said.
Arthur, you can shut up now since you don't seem to offer any help to us " Rose held his lips.
"I think you could have just told him so that you both could agree. He's going to be hurt when he finds out that he could have become a father but you took that chance away from him"
"Shut up Vivian, you're making it worse " Irene cried.
Dorothy came in and announced that Sean had arrived.
"What is he doing here?" Irene cried out.
"I think he came for Arthur since they have to handle some work," Rose said looking at her husband.
"I think it's best to tell him now so we can rescue you when he tries to choke you," Arthur said getting up.
Vivian and Rose laughed at Arthur's statement while Irene ran off to hide.
"Have any of you seen Irene today?" Sean asked the moment he came in.
"Haven't seen her " Rose and Vivian replied.
"She disappeared on me after I suggested we go to the hospital for a checkup," he told them
.
"Maybe she's scared of the syringes. Rose said.
"I don't think that was the reason and I have been trying her phone but she won't pick up " Sean sulked.
"Arthur why don't you take Sean to the study and talk about work," Rose said pushing Arthur towards Sean.
"It's okay I didn't come over for work but was looking for Irene, " Sean said.
But Arthur not wanting to anger Rose he grabbed his friend and walked to his study without a word.
Irene returned after Rose called her out.
She dropped to the couch and sighed.
"I am really confused about what to do " she cried out.
"You should just settle this as a couple since you both are dating and he looks worried " Vivian advised.
"I agree with Vivian just go ahead and tell him the truth. Then when he tries to choke you like Arthur said just scream for help " Rose laughed.
"You both think this is a joke it's not. I know I made a mistake when I took those pills but I thought it was the right thing to do at the time " Irene felt her head hurt.
"But now after all this talking, I have realized it was wrong and that I might not know Sean as I claim "
Sean had returned to the living room to tell Rose to try calling Irene's phone when he found them talk about something.
"What's going on?" he asked when he saw Irene there too.
Irene felt her heart stop, Vivian and Rose froze.
"I just discovered this isn't a convenient place to talk about such things " Rose let out.
Arthur walked in behind him and looked at them. He had tried to stop Sean but he was out of the door before he could.
"Why don't you both go home and talk about this together " Vivian suggested.
"No " Irene shouted thinking about what Arthur had told them.
"Then you can go to the study since it's quiet and private," Rose said.
She grabbed Vivian and Arthur and walked away heading to the terrace.
