"I told you to never leave her sight, but you foolishly lost her " Arthur shouted at the bodyguards he had hired for Rose.
Sean and Irene were calling everyone they knew she would go to, but none had seen her.
They had arrived at an angry shouting Arthur who was almost killing his bodyguards for losing his wife to be.
"Why would she sneak out without them and not even tell me?" Arthur questioned himself.
"Don't worry Arthur, she might have just visited someone that we don't know " said Irene.
"Then explain to me why her phone is off and it's been a full day since she left?" Arthur impatiently asked.
Sean called their men and instructed them to search the whole city and it CCTV.
Dorothy entered the room with a nervous face and said to Arthur " Excuse me, master, I think the baby is sick "
Arthur felt a headache act up as he hurriedly moved to little Arthur's room. He instructed Sean to call Alex and Ralph to check the baby.
"My tiny son, did you sense your mother's absence?" Arthur gently carried his son into his arms.
Little Arthur was running a fever and could not stop crying but the moment his father carried him in his arms, he stopped crying and quietly watched Arthur's face.
Arthur sang a lullaby that Rose always hummed for little Arthur to go to sleep. He soon stopped cried and just stared at his father's face.
Ralph and Alex soon arrived and helped Arthur with the baby. After giving him some medicine he falls asleep giving Arthur and the others enough time to make plans to look for Rose.
"Our men have found footage of her being taken after leaving a grocery store. The van is unregistered and the men avoided being seen " Sean informed the others.
"They knew she didn't have protection which means they had been following her for a while " Arthur said.
His men had tracked the van and saw where it had last appeared.
Arthur had been in a bad mood since he found out of Rose's disappearance but when he saw their son weak in his crib, he was motivated to find her.
He grabbed his jacket and kissed his Son forehead promising him to bring his mother back. Sean, Ralph, and Arthur soon left the villa to the last place the van was seen.
Alex and Irene stayed behind to look after little Arthur.
"Sir, it seems they abandoned the van here and used a different car " one of Arthur's men told them after they arrived at the scene.
"So did you find out where they headed?" He asked.
"It will be quiet difficult but not impossible, sir "
His men continued with the tracking and search of the list car.
"Arthur, don't you find it weird t, that this same road leads to Victoria's parent's mansion that we used to go to?" Sean pointed out.
"Yeah it the same road, but I don't understand why you find it weird "
"What if it Victoria who did this and she hid her in a place you wouldn't expect her to?" said Sean
"I know you hate her and I do too, but I know Victoria, she can't go to such measures just to get my attention " Arthur defended her.
"Okay if you say so " Sean quickly gave up the idea.
Soon his men found the location of the car, Arthur and the rest drove there with hopes they would get information about Rose's whereabouts.
But to his disappointment, it was another dead end.
Arthur felt his legs give away as he stumbled to the cold muddy ground. He felt the misty air brush across his face as his eyes stung with tears. He had hoped to find something but it was a failure.
He started up to the sky, that was holding billions of shining stars. But he felt more of loneliness when he realized that even the dark sky had the stars to keep it company.
"Where are you butterfly " He cried.
Sean and Ralph stood aside as they watched him cry his failure away.
"That's the second time am seeing him cry for her " Sean said.
Ralph turned to Sean and asked when was the first time he cried for his sister.
"It was when she was admitted to the hospital after being attacked at the charity ball " Sean answered.
Arthur soon stopped cried and fell silent as he stared into the empty surrounding.
"Arthur I think we should go back home and plan our next step carefully " Sean helped him up.
"Why don't we just tell the police?" Ralph suggested.
"No we wouldn't, this is my city and no one can hide in it without me finding out. Whoever did this better wait to taste my wrath " said Arthur as he moved to the car.
"He sounds angrier now " Ralph let out.
"And that scares me " Sean commented.
They drove off heading back to his villa with nothing but disappointment and anger.
When they arrived home, little Arthur was getting better and still sound asleep.
Dorothy cooked something for the guests and Arthur, who failed to eat with an excuse of having no appetite.
They all decided to stay with Arthur, worrying that he might get out of control.
Arthur stayed awake in his room as he watched little Arthur sleep peacefully.
When morning came he woke the other and told them to get ready to search again.
Everyone was surprised by his face that had lost color with big ugly bags under his eyes.
"Sir, we seemed to have tracked her phone to a certain location " one of his men informed him.
"And where is she?" he anxiously asked.
"It came from one of Victoria's parent's mansion" "And which one exactly?
" The one located on the road we were on last night "
Arthur moved his eyes and met them with Sean's who seemed to have a look of "I told you so "
"Get the car ready we leave in one minute " Arthur instructed his men.
Without waiting for anything they soon left for the mansion.
"I remember I told you about it last night, but you brushed it off with a claim that Victoria wasn't that type of person " Sean stated.
"I didn't know she had changed this much, to be able to want to hurt Rose " Arthur answered
"She was never a good person, you didn't see it just because you loved her "
