Distance means so little when someone means so much.
Yumna:
I was terrified I went and sat on bed sweating in darkness I brought my legs towards my chin and sobbed remembering the man's words and he said I shouldn't inform anyone.
All of sudden the lights were switched on and I saw Ahad standing near door he was staring at me as if figuring out what went wrong he immediately ran towards my sidr and sat on bed.
"Yumna, Yumna!it's me Ahad what's wrong?"his voice low and I looked at him his voice concerned.
No I can't tell him If I tell him the man will hurt him they will hurt him and his family I have to stay away from him.
"Nothing is wrong,"I said and looked away hoping he will not push it.
"That's nonsense I know something went wrong while I was away,"he said firmly observing me I hope he doesn't touch my hand or else he will know.
When he was about to touch my hand I jerked it away and he stood up pacing to and fro in the room alreasy frustrated with my behaviour.
"Just tell me what happened damnit, why did you back away your hands?"his voice now sounded angry and he sounded so furious.
"Please leave it?"I begged him my voice breaking down but I tried to stay calm and talked to him with my eyes.
"You are hiding something, something happened and I will find out,"he said while standing up and he was mad I knew it.
"Let's go out as we had planned and not spoil the beautiful night,"I wiped my tears and told him but he din't look my way at all.
We went and had dinner mum and dad enjoyed as well Ahad pretended like nothing happened he talked to me but only if it was important I glanced here and there just making sure no one was stalking us we reached home at around 11pm I put the mat for both of us we prayed silently only the breathing sound of two people was heard.

I woke up Ahad for tahajjud he was still mad at me.
I made supplication to Allah that may he protect my beautiful family.
Ahad was infront while me behind but after praying while on mat he glanced towards me as if convincing me with his eyes to tell me what happened.
"You think I din't see how you were terrified during dinner looking here and there?"he asked as if irritated by my silence.
"What are you talking about?"I asked him pretending to be dumb and he just ruffled his hair frustrated with my attitude.
"Let's sleep,"I suggested and he just stood up without a second glance.
"Let's not end our night like this,"I whispered as we lay on bed.
"Whose the one hiding things?"his voice sounded in pain and he was hurt by mu actions.
"Am sorry I will tell you at right time,"I said scooting closer but he din't move just stared at ceiling.
"What if you delay alot and something happens I know someone has said something to you,"he said his voice sounded defeated he seemed tired.
"Just rest and let's forget everything since today is our special day,"I tried to explain and squeezed him
"Promise me you will tell me everything,"he finally agreed to let go.
"Promise,"he said and I moved closer and hugged him.
"I will InshaaAllah,"I told him and that's what I love about us no matter what we always try to sleep without grudge.
I know I have hurt him alot but I was scared what if the man has sent guys since once Ahad will know he will leave everything and make sure we are safe and he will be worried already he was stressed about so much.
"Am sorry,"I whispered and prayed that nothing happens to Ahad and we lay in comfortable silence till sleep consumed us.
