"Good morning, my love." A slew of kisses fluttered down my spine, bringing me out of the dreamy state I'd been slumbering in. "I made you breakfast."
I stretched my arms up over my head with a lazy groan, turning right after to face my husband.
Husband. It seemed surreal that Henri and I had eloped and gotten married six months ago. It was a totally impulsive decision, but one that I knew I'd never regret in my entire life. He was so perfect for me, and I would forever be grateful for his levelheaded approach to my chaos.
"Good morning, esposo." A stupid smile made its way onto my face as I reached up to run a hand through his hair. "You didn't have to."
"I wanted to." He grabbed my hand and brought it down to his lips. "You're so beautiful, mon femme."
"You're just saying that because you can see my real face now," I joked, shivering when he started kissing my wrist. His kisses trailed up my arm and to my shoulder, then to my neck, drawing a small moan from my lips.
