An insistent knocking on my door woke me up from my deep slumber by startling me awake. How long had I been asleep? What time was it?
A look at the clock let me know that it was three thirty in the morning, and I got out of bed scowling to answer the door. Who the hell was at my door at this hour?
After turning on the living room table lamp, I went to the door and looked through the peephole to find my now husband standing there like a complete loon. I told him to at least wait until the morning!
'Technically it is the morning.'
Would I never be able to sleep?
"What do you want?" I opened the door and he came barrelling inside, which served to remind me that I hadn't locked the door chain. "Well my house is your house, I guess."
