Alpha opened his eyes. An unfamiliar scene greeted him, and he sat up confused, before an explosion of information spread through his mind. As his vision cleared he realized that he was not on earth anymore. The person whose body he now inhabited, was also names Alpha and he was 15 years old, and about to leave for the knights academy. He shook his head to clear it, before a *ding sounded in his head, and a voice said [Welcome to the Revenant system] [Congratulations to the host for awakening the system]. As the voice sounded in his head, a panel flickered into veiw in front of his head.

Alpha blinked in surprise. When he was younger, before the invasion of the demons happened, he was fond of reading online web novels, so he wasn't unaware of the concept of a system, but he never expected to get one for himself.
*ding [new mission: start the tutorial and learn about the system.]
As he heard this, he reached out, and selected [Tutorial] on the panel in front of him. When he did this, the voice asked [would you like to start the tutorial?][Y/N]. Alpha selected [Y], and the voice once again sounded out. [The Revenant system, is a way for the host to get stronger, to prevent the demons from invading the planet] [by completing missions, or preforming specific actions, the host can receive rewards, and get skills] [the host can assign stat points, to make his base stats stronger, and can trade coins to buy things from the store]

Alpha felt a warm itch spread through his body, and when it passed, he felt stronger and lighter that before. "I suppose thats because my stats went up by 1" he thought. As he was contemplating his newfound strength, his new mother's voice filtered into his room. "Breakfast honey!" She called, and the refreshing smell of bacon made his stomach grumble. "Eat fast, then your father, got you a ride to the academy, and you wouldn't want to be late."
Alpha sighed, as the familiar scene reminded him of his own mother, who had died when the first wave of monsters hit. Alpha pulled on his clothes, and looked in the mirror at his new face. He had short brown hair, and a moderately handsome face, that carried an air of ruggedness with it. "Not bad," he murmured, it was at least better than his old face which was covered in battle scars, and terrified anyone who saw him.
Alpha paced into the kitchen, and was greeted by the sight of his mother cooking at the stove, and his father reading the newspaper. He could see that the headline on the front read: Allan Sharpe breaks through into a Domain Lord, becoming the youngest person to reach this point, at 23 years old. Alpha was surprised to read that, and it seemed that this world was focused on martial arts, more that his previous one which only developed martial arts, when the demon's invasion began. Domain Lord at 23, he mused, "impressive, not many people back in my world could have done that."
While he was thinking, his mother had out the food on the table. Alpha sat down, and ate quickly as he had not tasted hot, and fresh food in years. His father chuckled as he saw this, and said, "when you're done with that, get in the car, because you don't want to be late to your first day."
