Dylan's POV...
I was never afraid of death, it was always misunderstanding that I was afraid of. Because this powerful misunderstanding can make a truth turn into a complete lie. And if someone believes that, it will make every truth to lay on a single lie.
I know it has happened between me and Tiara already. She won't believe me again. I didn't lie to her, I didn't mean to hide anything from her. But the misunderstanding has taken place between us.
And I will throw it out of our lines, and life.
I can't lose her. I really can't. I rocked back and forth, mumbling at myself, tugging at my hair. When I looked into her teary eyes, my heart thumped loudly, the only heavy drum only I could hear at that moment.
"Anything wrong?" Mom chimed in. Everything is wrong, mom. Not a single thing was right from the moment you stepped in.
"You better go home." Dad sounded soft, weak.
