"Do you always go to places like this?" Travis asked while leaning his back on the couch. He put his right leg on top of his left as he made a slow swirl of his drink.
He looked so captivating that Jillyanna couldn't seem to look away. She stared right into his eyes before answering, "Not fond of places like this. I can easily adapt to places though and my friend wanted to unwind tonight."
Travis looked at the woman who was dancing wildly on the dance floor. "She seems having fun. I mean your friend." He was looking at Cielo before returning his gaze back at her.
Jillyanna gained more courage with the help of her drinks. 'Tonight is the night to graduate from being a virgin!' That's what she thought to herself.
"Don't you like this kind of place? We can find a different location." Jillyanna moved even closer to him. Her scent drifted off to his nose making Travis even more drunk. She smelled sexy, sweet, and a trap. She's definitely a trap!
Travis clenched his hand into a fist to control himself. He turned his face away from her while listening to his friends' conversation.
When Jillyanna approached him earlier, he had turned the device mute but kept it on to make sure he'd know what was going on.
"I am not interested to hook up with women from bars or clubs." His voice was dripping cold making Jillyanna shiver in her place.
She stood up with her drink before responding to him in a low voice. "Too bad. I failed. Well, this is my first time taking initiative for someone." She hadn't taken even five steps yet when Travis pulled her back to sit on his lap.
"What did you say just now?" Travis held her hands pinning her close to him.
"It doesn't matter. Since you don't like me nothing's going to work." Jillyanna tried getting off from his clasps but he was just so strong.
Travis laughed lightly in the crook of her neck and shoulder. He leaned his head on her shoulder when he pulled her to him, breathing in her scent.
"Who said I don't like you? I said I'm not interested in women from bars and clubs. I didn't say I'm not interested in YOU." He gave emphasis to last the word which made Jillyanna smile cheekily.
'I am best at finding my victim!' she was praising herself mentally with a smirk hanging on her lips. "What shall I do? I have changed my mind already."
Jillyanna tried standing up once again but Travis held her tightly. "Can't we really have fun tonight?" His breath was hot on her back making her blush.
Even if she was being bold and brave earlier, she knew herself that she was a virgin. "My choice of place or your choice?"
"You choose." Travis let her stand but his hand was still on her waist making him look like a possessive boyfriend.
Jillyanna smiled while looking up at him. Even though she's tall compared to most women, Travis was still taller than her. Her head barely reached his nose.
"I'll pick a place then." her face was flushed and she was getting dizzy from the noise and alcohol she drank earlier.
She turned on her GPS for Lucian and Cielo to locate her if something happens. She sent her friend a message that she found someone. She also informed Lucian to pick up Cielo in 10 minutes.
All the while, Travis was looking at her fiddling with her phone. He had informed his friends that they don't have to wait for him as well.
"Seriously?! He hooked up with someone? I can't believe this. I am more interested in the woman!" Valkyrie blabbered while keeping his scope trained on their target.
Brown scoffed at him knowing that he wanted to play at the bar like everybody else. "You can go once the mission is over." Brown's voice was lazy as he spoke. It wasn't the usual tone that showed annoyance, irritation, or upset whenever Valkyrie talks about women.
Savannah and Hawk paused for a while before looking at each other. Even Valkyrie felt that something was wrong as well.
"If you don't want me to go, you can just say it. You don't have to use that kind of tone on me." He spoke through his earpiece in agitation.
Brown smiled but it didn't reach his eyes at all. "Why should I do that? I'm not your mom. Do whatever you want as long as the mission is over. No one's stopping you."
Valkyrie felt a little lost with that remark. He wasn't able to find anything in response to him.
Travis chuckled while listening to their conversation. He knew why Brown did that. It's time for Valkyrie to take action.
He pulled the woman closer to him as they walked their way to the parking lot. He opened the car door for her like a real gentleman. Well, he's a gentleman, okay? A gentleman with motive.
Jillyanna gave him the name of the hotel which wasn't far from the bar. Not long after they left, Lucian arrived to pick up his girlfriend.
Cielo was chatting with the bartender when Lucian came. She was already drinking warm juice to lessen the alcohol in her system.
"Thank you for checking on her," Lucian spoke to the bartender with a slight nod of his head.
The bartender just smiled. He wasn't just a normal bartender stationed at that bar. He was a policeman who was doing undercover work to see who are dealing with drugs. He would monitor them and report, but he wasn't allowed to take action. He's more on intel to the police.
Cielo waved her hand to the bartender before leaning her head on Lucian's arms. "Am I a bad friend? I was just joking that I'd support her and now she's really doing it!" She complained to him like a child who lost her toy.
Lucian rubbed her head to calm her. "Jillyanna had always been willful. If she wanted it she would make sure to achieve her goal. It's not in a bad way since she wouldn't step on someone to boost herself. We knew what she wanted to get even when we were still children. All we can do is to support her. She knew what she was doing."
"But what if that guy is bad? What if something would happen to her? I will never forgive myself if something would really happen!" She stomped her feet on the ground from pent-up frustrations. "God damn it!"
Lucian couldn't help but sigh. They couldn't really stop their silly friend from doing it. "I am more worried for the guy. If he would do something other than what Yanna wanted him to do, he would be in trouble."
This statement made Cielo laugh so hard. "I know, right? Even if she looks harmless you would never know until you provoked her. Anyway, she gave me the address of the hotel. It isn't far from here. How about we get our own room and wait for her?"
Lucian flicked her forehead and then rubbed it gently. "Don't be so anxious, okay? Let's trust Jillyanna in this. Aside from that, we'll get a signal if something does happen."
"So let's get a room and wait! I can't help but feel guilty!" Cielo walked towards Lucian's car.
"You can tell me if you want to sleep with me. It's not a problem." Lucian teased her which made her blush.
"Shut up! We won't be sleeping tonight. We will wait and see if she'd really be out at six." She fastened her own seatbelt and took a deep breath. She's really afraid for her friend. For some reason, she felt that her friend would be cheated.
Travis and Jillyanna arrived at the hotel within a few minutes. Jillyanna checked in so that Lucian and Cielo would know which room she was in if something would happen.
Looking at the woman with calm actions, Travis found it very amusing. She was acting calm and composed but her hand was shaking when she was filling out the form.
Travis received the room card from the receptionist. He held one of her hands and led her to the elevator area.
"This is your idea. You better prepare yourself." He whispered beside her ear before giving it a gentle bite.
Jillyanna's eyes were wide in shock. She covered her ears with her free hand while giving him a deathly glare. Her face was bright red from being flustered.
"I was just doing that. How much more can you take? Do you want to back out?" He really wanted to claim her and announced to the world that she belongs to him but if she would want to stop what they are doing, he would respect that decision as well.
Needless to say, Jillyanna was brave and had made up her mind. She won't back out just because of that little flirting act.
"Oh? I won't back out. You better make me happy tonight. I'm paying for this hotel after all."
Her statement earned a cheerful laughter from him. He couldn't even stop himself and pinched her face lightly. "Sure. You're the boss."
