Don't lose faith in Allah, even if your heart has suffered so much trauma because that's the test from The Almighty Allah. It is how beautiful hearts are remade; they are shattered first.

Ya Allah! I promise to praise you no matter what or however long my hardships last; for I know that throughout my sorrows and pain; trials are gifts and hardships are favours.

I couldn't believe my father just came out with it; of all the nerve, I thought in disbelief.
