Chapter 4 - Moving Up

We have gone through our middle school years and now we get ready to apply to a high school to figure out what we want to do in the future. Kyle and I both applied to the same high school. We were the strongest in our class. Beginning with me, my power is super strength. I can put a lot of power in my body on a super level.

Kyle, he has Titanium Muscle Augmentation. His power allows him to multiply the amount of muscle in his body to the point where the skin cant contain the muscle. His muscle is made of titanium when he activates his power.

We both apply to Middleton High. We also both apply to the hero course in that school.

"Today all of you applied to different schools, but two of you applied to the famous hero school that has heroes come out of. Two of you applied to Middleton high, and those two are Christian Miles, and Kyle Cottonwood." the teacher said with joy." I wish you all the best of luck in your careers as heroes."

Kyle and I are walking on our way to our houses when we get attacked by a criminal on the run. He punches me right in the face I go flying and smack into the wall across the street. As I'm getting up I see that Kyle is trying his best to keep up with this guy. Then all I see is Kyle getting punched in the chest. The force was so great that the air rippled around him. Most of the small building was destroyed from the hit. he was laying on top of rubble, and I stood up and took action. I ran at him with purpose.

" You will regret doing that to my friend", I yelled as I punched him with a full powered punch to the face. The air rippled like when he punched my friend I saw that I made a crater where he landed and slid down the road. The road was destroyed from the force. The guy was unconscious after that punch. I called the police and an ambulance to meet where we were at. The police arrived and detained the guy, and congratulated me for helping them catch him, and the paramedics put Kyle in the back of the ambulance and rushed him to the hospital. I'm sitting in the lobby waiting on the nurses to let my family and his family in to see him.

"You can see him, but it isn't good" the doctor said.
