"Today at 1:15pm US Eastern Time Phantom Interactive will launch the very first global servers for their VRMMORPG titled; Osiris Online which, holds the world record for being the world's first fully emersive video game experience. I am joined here today by the man behind Osiris Online and the Phantom Full-Dive System which is used to play the game, Peter Young."
A loud round of applause sounds throughout the studio as the camera pans toward a young man in his early-30s wearing a black suit with a dark blue tie, messy brown hair and dark brown eyes that look as if he could fall asleep at any moment.
"Thank you all for the warm welcome and also for having me here today, but before we start with the interview I want to stress the point that I alone am not responsible for the work behind both Osiris Online and the Phantom Full-Dive System simply abbreviated to the P.F.D.S The people who are most deserving of praise are the men and women who have come to help me make my dreams a reality and for their tireless efforts to make me able to stand before you all here today. To them I want to say thank you very much for standing here with me until this day."
A burst of applause follows the end of Peter's speech which then quickly quiets down so everyone can hear what is going to happen next. The young female reporter softly clears her throat before turning to face Peter.
"Mr. Young, with the launch of Osiris there have been the circulation of rumors on the internet about a special launch event in game is that true," she asks.
Peter turns to face the audience with a bright smile on his face and winks mischievously before turning back to the reporter and replies, "Yes, everyone at Phantom has been working very hard to make this opening event possible and players will have the chance to claim very special event exclusive items. Also, we have hidden within the currently available area in game a very special easter egg. The first five people who find this easter egg have a chance to win three million dollars or a very special prize..."
At the mention of the chance to earn three million dollars everyone with in the studio fall into a frenzy causing the rest of Peter's announcement inaudible then finally the workers at the studio manage to quiet down the crowd so that the reporter can officially end the interview and announce the next ad break.
The t.v. is shut off as the ad break is announced and a young man in a wheelchair tosses the remote on to a coffee table before turning himself around and leaving the room.
"Three million dollars huh... with that amount I'll finally be able to pay off my debts and medical bills from the accident but, what's the chances of me even being able to find the easter egg in the first place none the less even being one of the first five people."
The man lets out a long sigh as he enters a large bedroom filled with manga, videogames, and posters. On a nearby night stand there is a stack of opened bills and get well cards the man wheels himself over to the table and grabs an unopened letter that's on top of the pile. After opening the letter bright red letters spelling out the words 'Eviction Notice' are clearly visible the man's eyes fill with tears as he places the notice back on to the pile and turns around and looks at the package on his bed. Grabbing the package on his bed he pulls of the note on top.
"Tyler, I know your in a tough time right now so I bought you something I know that you'll enjoy the new P.F.D.S with a copy of Osiris Online, I also own a copy so I'll be at the launch celebration in-game so let's meet up there."
Your closest friend, Lily
The man's face lights up with a bright smile as he puts the card down on his lap and opens the package containing the Phantom Gear and Osiris Online.
